Excellent but one niggle...
Used for 4K video editing mainly, superb all rounder, looks good aesthetically, except... The foot stand isn't rock solid (others mentioned this also) therefore on my desk it doesn't sit level, I've had to use two drink coasters one side to level it up. Not ideal but it does the job. Hence it loses a star overall.

A great 'budget' 4K monitor
Compared to a lot of monitors out there this is a fairly basic offering, as it only has one DisplayPort and two HDMI ports. There are no speakers, USB ports or audio output socket. If these extras are vital to you then this monitor is obviously not for you. Personally I have no need for any of these as I use external speakers and a hub. However, when it comes to the most important aspect of a monitor, the screen, this model does a great job. The screen is clear and bright. Viewing angles are good, as you would expect on an IPS panel. Colours pop, whites are very white and blacks are deeper than on the average IPS monitor due to the denser pixel count.People who sit in the dark with a black screen and obsess over light bleed will need to look elsewhere, as there is some light bleed in those circumstances just as with any IPS panel I have ever owned, particularly those with nice bright screens. The brightness can be turned down to offset this but in reality it just isn't noticeable for people doing general productivity/office work in typical conditions. The monitor has a stylish very slim profile. The stand offers decent height adjustability. Unlike the LG models it doesn't take up much desk space. It is metal so despite being compact it is very strong and sturdy. However there is still some slight screen wobble if you bang your desk but I don't find it a big issue. The stand also has a swivel function, but unlike some models like the Dell ultrasharp, for instance that I owned before, there is no ability to rotate to portrait mode, which is a facility I never used anyway. Like the Dells, this screen has an anti-glare coating, but in my opinion this HP version is better as I find it less grainy than the Dells I've used.I use the monitor at its native resolution but apply increased scaling as the small text is too uncomfortable for my eyes at native resolution. This might lead to the question of why buy a 27" 4K monitor if you're going to need to scale? But for those who haven't tried one I can confirm that a scaled 4K screen is noticeably superior to a non scaled screen at lower resolutions. To sum up, anyone who doesn't need the extra bells and whistles but wants a great detailed screen with adjustable stand for browsing and office/productivity work will be very happy with this monitor. Highly recommended!
