Easy to pull on. Easy to pedal in. Easy to forget you're wearing. The Slayer Bike Knee Sleeves offer low-profile padding for hot days and all-mountain riding. The form-fitting design uses energy-absorbing DK Impact foam for a flexible fit that conforms to match the shape of your leg. Snug-fitting, four-way stretch mesh with gripper strips keep them in place, and built-in odor control helps manage the stink.

Run small, but good minimal protection
These run small. I was right in between sizes on Dakine's size chart, decided to go with the bigger size (XL) and they barely fit. I am not a big guy. This is a common theme for Dakine it seems. If you're not pretty close to average, no size of these are going to fit.As for function, they stay put well, and offer the absolute minimum protection. They're lightweight and breathable. One thing I didn't realize is the knee sleeves don't split, so you've got to take your shoes off to get them on. Kind of annoying.

It’s OK
By now I have bought and returned many kneepads from high-end companies. It’s one Hass to be one of the second worst kneepads. Not good for paddling you feel a little crunch on every pedal because the inserts are not flexible enough and they suck.Cool idea horrible inserts. From what I felt it seem like the inserts will eventually crack and break. That’s why I like D30 Inserts. Save your money spend another 2030 $40 and get something way more comfortable oh yeah did I mention these things feel like you have A Sauna around your knee caps,And this is only after 15 minutes of riding imagine 23 hours four hours of riding did probably end up slipping off because your knees with sweat to death

Great comfort, easy to put on.
After trying several others, these are the best MTB pads for the money by far-Real all day riding with forget they are on comfort.-I was looking for pads that are easy to get on and off, but stay in place. Check.-They are lightweight and off good protection for the weight, but they are not meant to match hard shell, hardcore downhill pads.- But if you want pads for the rest of your rides that are comfortable and easy to get on, so much so that it is really not worth riding. Without them - check these out.-They are also low key looking. No huge logos or shiny materials.

Best I’ve found so far
Fit is good. Comfort is great. The only problems I’ve experienced is the knee protector moving around inside the sleeve. I have to situate it when putting them on every time. After wearing for a while they sometimes sag some and the protector will poke out in the front. They have proven durable after about ten washes so far. I wear them every ride but haven’t gone down with them yet. I’m sure the rocky terrain here will tear them up but that’s the point. I like them more than g form (way better quality).

Great under pants or for long pedal days
Love these knee pads. Fit really well under slim fit bike pants. Perfect for winter rides. Also great on bigger rides. Very comfortable. Slammed once in them straight to the knee cap and was fine. Washed them a number of times now and they’re holding up excellent. DaKine really makes the best knee pads, gloves and jerseys

Great light weight knee pads.
Great light weight knee pads. Very comfortable and most important they will stay up while bike riding. My only complaint is that they are not very durable. First minor spill I had I tore a hole in them.

A little on the small side
When I first tried these on I thought maybe they were the wrong size. Definitely need to stretch them out and break them in. After wearing them around the house for a day they fit fine. Just a tad bit snug. Doesn't affect the way I ride. Overall I'm satisfied

Make me feel safer
These are not very comfortable, but they safely cover my knees and give me a feeling of safety that I needed after a fall.
