Nikon EN-EL20 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery (repl.)

This rechargeable battery is a must have extra battery to take along with you, when taking lots of pictures like I do. I own a Nikon J1 and whenever I am getting ready to leave with my camera I make sure the battery is fully charged and put it right in my camera bag. Some days I might take just a few pictures and other days more then a hundred.The battery holds the charge very well when I am taking pictures. The time to charge the battery, which plugs directly into the wall, is approximately two hours.If you enjoy taking pictures then this is a must for you.

Reliable and long lasting.

No issues, straight forward charge and use. I needed a secondary battery for my camera when i went on long trips. Recording with my nikon zapped my batteries so i had to get a spare. The battery always worked its been over a year now.

I’m sure the battery is fine but the description is wrong. It does not fit a Nikon D5000

I purchased this battery as a back up for when I video with my Nikon1. It is exactly as expected as it is an original brand battery. It worked just fine. With one battery, I was able to tape two and a half basketball games and had the second to replace during half time so I wouldn't run out.

I shopped at several different stores for the battery to my new Nikon J1 camera--even the store I purchased the camera from. The battery to the camera was not in stock at any store that I shopped at. Also, the battery was anywhere from $10-18 more in the stores that could order it for me. I ordered from Amazon and received it very quickly, which I needed for vacation. Amazon service is unsurpassed by any! The battery is very expensive, but then again, so was the camera!!

Well I saw a review on You Tube about how I should not even think of buying another battery for my expensive Nikon Coolpix A so I am glad I got this one and the pricing was good too!
