18 Inch, 120 Pound Aqua Punching Bag

This bag will do everything that I need it to do. That said, I do not see this bag as a replacement for a traditional heavy bag. I’m using it as a strikable weight to hang from the bottom of a bungee mounted Virtec HAWK training dummy torso (like a BOB but with manipulable arms). The most obvious deficiency in using this ball shape in place of a heavy bag is its small size. There is absolutely no way that you could work low/high combinations. You are basically working against an absurdly oversized head. This may be fine for “cardio” boxing type training, but it is useless for actual combination training, and it is beyond useless for any type of kickboxing or other martial art that uses the whole body. Other reviewers have said that the bag is surprisingly hard, I have to agree with that. This ball when full of water gives impact resistance similar to a high quality sand-filled leather heavy bag. This is not a con in my opinion, but if you are accustomed to a soft foam bag like a wave master or similar you will likely be unpleasantly surprised. I would definitely not recommend hitting one of these bare handed, at least not for an entire workout once, once or twice while walking past it shouldn’t be a problem. Lastly, you should expect to make a mess filling this thing up. The hose nozzle that is supplied with the bag has no on/off valve. This means that you will need to either have someone standing outside next to the hose faucet (you can only fill it with a garden hose) or run back and forth turning the water on and off. Neither solution is ideal. I actually rigged a valve in between the hose and the nozzle and still spilled at least a quart of water. Overall, it is a good product but of very limited use in a gym and not versatile enough to be the only piece of equipment in your garage.

This punching bag is by far the best bag I have ever used and the fact that it's filled with water makes it that much better. I first was introduced to this bag at my local boxing gym and after throwing just a jab followed by a straight right I immediately fell in love with it. There is a 21" Aqua bag which is the largest along with much smaller ones but this 18" is just perfect for me since I prefer my bags to move around when I punch them so that I can practice my leg and head movements a lot better. This bag is so versatile, so whether you're practicing your jabs, straight right/left punches, hooks, uppercuts, this bag handles it all, you can practice combos with ease and this bag is easy on your hands and wrists, so you are less likely to injure your hands while punching the bag compared to the traditional punching bag that may cause some injury if you hit it too hard and without the proper form.Another huge plus to this bag is that it feels like you're hitting the human body which is just great. Another plus and this is my personal opinion, is that I think it requires a lot less energy to hit this bag compared to the traditional punching bag, so since I've had this bag my workout sessions have lasted a whole lot longer than when I used to use a traditional bag, so that right there makes this bag so worth it. And the quality of this bag is superior, you will not be disappointed with this bag and it's very affordable in my opinion and I believe that this bag will last you for a very long time, much longer than the tradional heavy bag. I can't recommend this bag enough, I don't think you'll ever go back to the traditional heavy bag after trying out this amazing product. If you're considering on purchasing the Aqua Punching bag don't hesitate and just do it, make sure to purchase the hanging kit as well if you dont have something to hang the bag with already, you will not be dissapointed!

If you've never worked out with one of these aqua bags just get one. I'm a huge fan of the heavy bag but this is a different beast. Nothing beats the comfort and feel of landing a 1,2,3 on an aqua bag. They absorb your punches so well yet they're solid as a rock. I prefer to hang them with a bracket that won't spin. I have this one hanging with a title or everlast heavy bag spring. It's wonderful. The upper body combos you can land on these is incredible. Perfect for all hooks, uppercuts, jabs and anything else to the head. Would love to see a double one like the double end bags so you could have body shots.

It definitely works well and can take a beating. Was easy to hang but a little awkward to fill all the way. I partially filled it, then hung it up and filled it the rest of the way till it was nice and full and that did the trick. I just used a strong nylon rope and a some hardware from the hardware store and its good to go. Make sure to use gloves when working out.

I have 3 of these in my gym. My 1st gym has 20+ heavy bags, but these save so much space & are phenomenal for Conditioning Work Outs. As a business owner, I really appreciated how they attend to questions and any problem solving scenarios. By years end, I plan on adding 3 more to my gym. 👊💪❤️

Super strong and durable. You will hurt your hand or shin if you try to use this without gloves or shin guards. I love the material because I can leave it outside and not worry about the rain damaging the bag. Punching it really does feel more life like than a traditional bag. Looking into getting the smaller one to get some more footwork in.

Love the bag but it leaks from the seal in the middle so mine only stays half full so half the weight I purchased. I was out of town so missed the return window for replacement but other then that it’s nice.

I went back and forth about purchasing an Aqua Training Bag. I'm extremely glad that I did! This is far superior to a full size heavy bag. It was a little daunting getting hung up filled since I really didn't have a way to fill it when it was hung up, but got it handled!

This bag is every bit as good as advertised. Great feel when you strike it. Cool colour. Just want to hit it all day. Feels indestructible yet gives when it’s punched.Make sure you’ve got a place to install something heavy. We braced across three ceiling joists per photo.NOTE this does NOT come with hanging hardware. Had to buy chain (5 bucks at Home Depot for 30 grade which is good for like 1000 pounds), swivel (10 bucks), good Carabiner (10 bucks), generic heavy duty hanging bracket (10 bucks) and some 1/4 inch carriage bolts (3 bucks). Also bought heavy duty heavy bag spring (150 lb) for about 30 bucks, which was essential to dampen the vibrations in the house.You can buy hanging kits separately, not sure they come with everything you need anyways.

El embalaje estaba roto. No trae la cadena de agarre las piezas venían sueltas en la caja la cual tenía un agujero, suerte que no salieran volando. Tuve que comprar cadena y mosquetones a parte para la instalación. Aparte el saco no parece nuevo. Al hincharlo se queda la forma del doblado que trae... everlast tiene otras aqua bags que por un poco más te lo traen todo. La próxima no me la juego.

Great easy to fill a little messy bit okay important to put anti freeze liquiq in the at least a gallong and 2 to 3 gallons if like me you have long winters great fill top notch great material real nice only regret is that i should have taken the 190 for only 40 dollars extra
