Achilles ATR Sport 2 Tire - 245/40R18 97W

This is a very good summer / performance tire with great wet handling characteristics and acceptable treadwear for what it is. The grip is comparable to the Pilot Super Sport and as with any performance tire will be affected by temperature. They do not take a long time to get up to temp and once they do, provide consistent, predictable performance while accelerating, braking and cornering. Very low tire noise while driving under city and highway conditions. Very sturdy and handles bump and potholes well without any signs of damage. If you are looking for a a tire that you can drive on daily and then do light track or autocross days, this tire should be on your list. I would definitely purchase again.All tests were performed on a closed course by a professional driver. Always practice safe driving while on public roads.

Put these on my 2014 scion tc. They seem like pretty good tires. Had plenty of traction in dry and wet weather. They can be a little noisy when they are cold but once warmed up after a short drive, they are quiet. Will Definitely buy again.

For less than $100, this is probably one of the lowest price in the segment. I do not expect it to pass 36k miles. Yet, it looks good and pretty grippy. Road noise is also not much.Will I buy again? Yes, but if name brands are on sale or within $20 or so from this tire, I may switch. The reason is changing tire is a hassle and cost $$$.

I bought these as a replacement set of tires for my 2018 WRX. Ive driven on them for a little over a week now and in that time, i have found some things that i loved about them and some that i hated. First off, if you are on a budget and looking for a decent UHP tire, this is the tire for you. They are decent tires, hold grip pretty well, look decent, tread pattern looks decent and finally they perform well in the rain. Now for the dislikes, in the morning expect to have a rough ride. They get very hard over night and take time to warm up. The first 5 minutes of my ride feels like I'm driving over rocks. After they warm up, its silky smooth. Ive read that once the tires break in more that goes away. Ill add a little update once i get more millage on the tires. Hope this helps some people out!

Surprisingly decent tire for such a low price. Handles well, rides quiet. I needed an all season tire for my Golf R for the winter months, and these hold up very nicely.

Im not fully sure of the life if these tires yet , but i will a say there a little loud on the feeeway . But for what i pad i find it acceptable , had i paid fwice as much i would be another story. So i have no complaints.

I only got two of these from Amazon and one of the the seals keep leaking down even after getting it resealed. The other one just for no reason a knot just came up on the side wall for no apparent reason. I have only put about 200 miles on these tires for they are on a truck for show and sunny weather driving. The biggest issue for me is the window for return has expired and now I have to go somewhere else and replace these new defective tires with new ones which is a total lost for me. I've learned my lesson it's not worth saving a couple of dollars up front buying from Amazon only to have to spend twice as much eventually. I will only buy from a tire store locally as I used to
