Gatsby Perfect Hold Wax - Medium Hair Hard - 2.11 oz

Originally I had purchased this hair product from a small shop in Chinatown in NYC as a temporary solution to running out of styling wax. After the first use, it has become a favorite of mine.I chose the "medium" strength because I hate having product that turns hair into porcupine needles. At the same time, it has enough hold that people with shorter hair can style and restyle their hair throughout the day and not lose its composure. This product works a lot better than most waxes/pomades that I have used, and I have used many.Another thing is that it washes out quite easily, unlike other waxes. A quick rinse under the sink (if you're in a hurry) will usually do the trick. It does not leave heavy residue in your hair.My only complaint is that the product is really only available online or in Asian grocery stores/shops. The price here might be a bit higher than it should be. Nevertheless, I felt it worthwhile to pay for a superior product. 4 out of 5 stars.

Absolutely love these hair "waxes" although I wouldn't call it a wax consistency as it is more of a cream. I purchased the formula for short, meddium, and heavy hold so I can transition from one to another as my hair grows out. I have a lot of hair but it is extremely baby fine and all these products do exactly as they claim to! I have tried several dozen products and none have come close to the workability or usability as this. It is matte without a powder residue but it would be nice if there was just a small hint of shine in my opinion. That is just about the only suggestion I have so far. The fragrance is light and pleasant. I once was able to go 3 days without washing or reapplying and just refreshed with water to reshspe...perfect for long trips or camping! Will definitely reorder.

I had been looking for anything which would hold and not be sticky, stiff, or make my hair feel like I'd dipped my head in tub of molten plastic. Gatsby perfect hold is just that product, I was concerned having read other reviews that claimed it was difficult to wash out, however I have not found that to be the case. My one and only complaint is I need to have my hair cut slightly longer than I normally would to use this product. When it's shorter the hold isn't quite as good as I would like without using more product than I should have to. Overall though I am very impressed.

Best product by Gatsby! I have almost tried them all. The hold is flexible and is not hard at all if you use the size of two peas for hair 1 1/2 to 2 inch long. after 6 hrs the look fades but only needs to be refreshed with some damp hands and your got another 6 hour style that will not give you head aches but still looks great! This product get my Best Buy rating of 9.5 out of 10! The only way it would be perfect is if the cavity in the cube was much larger so you get more product to be on par with the Gatsby small jars.

Got this for the husband to try. He was exploring different waxes for his hair. He tried it, but felt that it didn't hold his hair together well.

I have bought garnier wax, and other gatsby waxes in different colors but this is by far the best one and by far has the best smell. Other waxes have a funky smell when they dry up but this doesn't. This is also very mild with no shine and non waxy feeling. It looks as if I didn't apply anything yet it holds my wavy hair in place. I love it.

I've always had very thick hair that is hard to manage. Because of this, I've tried a variety of products, always having been let down by them. I heard that this would be good at holding my hair back out of my face, and so I got excited and bought some. First of all, there's not any directions for use. Some products work best on dry hair, some work best on wet hair, which should I do for this? I've tried it on both, and it has yet to hold my hair out of my face for more than a half an hour. I don't do any crazy styles or anything, just combed back. It can't even handle that.

This stuff works great. It goes on easy, it's not too sticky, and holds your hair very well without feeling like you just dumped a load of candle wax on your head (if you like that look, go ahead and go to your local supermarket and buy those really cheap national brands).

以前はギャッツビーの紫を使っていましたがどうしてもあれだけだと寒い時期だと特に髪にひっかかってうまくスタイリングできませんでした。　このワックスはホールド力はかなり弱いですが手櫛が通りやすいので、これである程度形をととのえてから少量のハードワックスを後から塗れば完璧です近所ではどこにも売っていないのでamazonで買えてよかったです

息子が使っていますが、このワックスが一番使い易くまとまるそうです

単体だとベタベタしすぎですが、ショートハードと混ぜて使うととてもいいと思います。ショートハードはとてもすばらしいワックスですが、冬にちょっとぱさぱさするのが唯一の欠点なので
