Not as laterally strong as needed in high winds
I have a small footprint antenna (Channel Master EXTREMEtenna 80) on a 5 foot mast. The top of the antenna is approximately 25 feet above grade and on 4 feet above my roof. In a high wind storm this past year, the lower support bracket (the one without the third leg) bent 2½ inches to one side. The mast now leans the opposite direction. The support is not as laterally strong as needs to be. What would happen with a larger antenna with greater wind resistance?I can not straighten the bracket by hand while atop a ladder. I will have to remove the bracket and bend it back on the bench. I will probably add some more lateral support to prevent this from re-occurring.

Rock Solid
I used these standoffs to place a 17 ft tall ham radio antenna on 30 ft of mast, making it 47 ft tall. The standoffs are well made and very strong. They come with all the hardware needed. One of the standoffs has a support leg with it, requiring 3 anchor points, I choose to make it the top standoff for its added stability. The eave overhang was over 12 inches but I wanted to attach to multiple studs so I used horizontal two x fours bringing the total standoff to 13 3/4 inches, it was just right. The antenna has withstood several storms with high winds and has performed perfectly. The installation is extremely strong and robust thanks to the standoffs. You will be well pleased with these mounts, the quality is outstanding and they get the job done.

Does the job for mounting TV Antenna Poles
Simply gets the job done. Adequate stand-off for the Winegard HD7698P VHF UHF TV Antenna, although mounted up 15 feet on a tree.Might want to consider shortening the bolts or buying shorter bolts for the bolts that can be shorter, in order to allow for easier removal of the nuts and/or fasteners when the unit is mounted up high. Also a good idea to use aluminum anti-seize goop, to prevent the fasteners from corrosion. For my installation, I opted to not use the lower 45 degree additional bracket as I had no place to mount too due to my unique self-engineered installation. The mounting is still adequately firm without the lower 45 degree bracket.

Sturdy unit, worked so well I bought a second set.
These mounts met my needs perfectly to clear my roof overhang to put my tv and cellphone amplifier antenna up high enough to be effective. In a recent wind storm the standoff held up well, the antennas, not so much.

Excellent quality mast standoffs
Excellent quality mast standoffs. The standoffs supports a 15 foot mast that holds a small TV antenna and weather station and has survived high winds without bending or failure.
