Needed Just the Elbow, Worked Perfectly
Like the majority of these reviews, I needed just the little plastic elbow after I snapped mine while installing the battery. Ordered this tube to get the elbow since no one had elbows in stock locally. Got it next day and installed the elbow. Prefect fit!

Well-made product to vent my battery

Fixed my exhaust smell at stop.
I only needed the elbow like most, bought the car used and notice exhaust smell at stops and a foul odor. Dealer detailed car in winter, water was left i the battery compartment which led me to find the hose hanging beside the battery.Looked at what my options are after some research about this and pull the elbow fitting off the item and installed.No exhaust smell at stop or idle, guessing hose allowed it into the cabin and an ozone treatment from the dealer fixed the rest of the smell.Works great! I knocked off stars for the point I just needed the elbow but I guess it’s best to have the hose incase the other was faulty.
