As others have stated, the takeup wheel is the wrong size.
Fortunately my takeup wheel was reusable, otherwise I would have been screwed.

Garbage - not sized correctly
If you're buying this for a Maserati QP V, then don't. The green disc piece, which is the critical piece that falls apart on these models, is not the correct size, it was about 1mm too large, which means it would not fit back into the motor housing for the window, and all the work done replacing cables did nothing to fix the problem.Do not buy. These are garbage.
