Liberty SafeHandgun Quick Vault Combo with Auto Entry, Small HD-100 Gray

Nice little vault. Well built and functions as expected. Plenty of room for a handgun, clip, and maybe some cash and small valuables. It's thin too. Fits into shallow nightstand drawers. One suggestion would be get rid of the audible blips when pressing the keys, but I don't hold that against them as I guess that's a personal preference. If someone breaks into my home at night I wouldn't want the beeping happening. There may be a way to disable the sound I'll have to look into that, but glad I bought it and would recommend it if you need a child-secure vault but quick access to your weapon. Great price too.

This is perfect for keeping my EDC locked up when the grandkids are over. I have Liberty safes and I know their products are top quality. This is no exception. Fits perfectly in my nightstand drawer and when the young ones are over, my EDC will go in it. Don't have to worry about breaking the law by exposing them to a firearm. All they can see is a locked box. It is solidly built, has a light on the inside, comes with two keys, programmable code buttons, and pops right open. Battery backup warning beeps. I recommend this.

Well made. I like the functions , key pad , light, cable. However the auto spring open feature stop working after a week. I have to tap it or give it a little help and it opens. I wanted this to safely store a firearm in a car and it does that well. When I go where CCW is prohibited. Check size before buying. It does fit under my Prius front seat.

I purchased this safe, immediately recognized the same issues that every other person was experiencing... the auto opener didn't work if the keypad was used.After thinking I could work through it, and a brief change of heart, I called Liberty directly.When talking to the Liberty tech, I told him which safe I had purchased, he stoped me and immediately recognized the issue, then said, "every one of these safes we sell have this same issue. I can send you a replacement, but it will do the same thing."In the end this safe was replaced with a Liberty HD-200 - a much much better, solid, product.

Exactly what I was after - as economical as possible, but reliable & quick access security for one compact semi-automatic pistol (FNH FNX-9). Got bonus of a quality construction beyond expectations, and operation is as expected. Space available will be filled with full size handgun so suggest measuring twice. Appears much nicer than competitive brands I've looked at (GunVault, Sentry, etc.). If holds up (read; battery life) will likely use Liberty safe product as source when go a little larger as the construction appears to be a good bit nicer..

This is a fantastic safe for anyone not wanting to spend the money for a biometric version. It's very easy to use quickly, and appears to measure up to Liberty's high standards. Fits both compact and full-size.

Auto open feature did not work. Clearly there was some friction between top and bottom that prevented auto open. I am very surprised this wasn't caught by QC, although the inner foam lining was coming off upon arrival so I assume QC at Liberty may be lacking overall. I called Liberty to trouble shoot what could have been any easy fix but was transferred to someone's voicemail who never returned my call. Decided to return which Amazon handled very well.

it's definitely better than the StackOn similar size safe. The circular key is better than the cheapie lock that SO uses which I could pry open with a screwdriver. I think this one is harder to pry open as well.The one thing that SO does better is to let you have as long a combo as you want. Here you are limited to 5 key presses max.So one star off.Update: bought a second one, and this one doesn't open easily. Something in the hasp or lock is sticking and you have to pry it open with your fingers, as the the internal sprung arm doesn't have enough force to overcome this stickiness of this particular unit.So, another star off!
