I have an old IPhone 6 plus that I only use as a display for my drone. The battery had poor storage capacity and was starting to swell and open the case. So for about $20 I figured I had nothing the loose. The case came apart easy. Be careful of the tiny screws that hold the connector covers and some are of different lengths. Removing the old battery from the case took some effort and heating as noted in the video helped soften the tacky strips. Instructions weren't the clearest on installing the new tack strips so be careful, once they touch something, they are stuck forever! Reinstalling the connectors and the covers and closing the case went easily. Back in business for $20.00!

I finally got around to replacing the battery on an old iPhone 6 Plus. I purchased this battery almost 2 years ago, and the battery still works well. It's fully charged now and seems to be functioning fine. I will update this review after some time -- giving the and old phone and new battery some time to get acquainted.

High capacity battery with all the tools needed to install it. I am amazed at how long the charge is lasting now. Only downside is the battery health report is not functional after replacement.

I have an iPhone 6+. I love having a headphone jack so I have held off on upgrading. After all these years my internal battery is really worthless and I have been resorting to lugging around an external battery. I have attempted to have the battery changed by Apple, but their repair website says my phone is "Vintage" and is no longer supported. So I took a risk and got this kit.This kit is great, it has ALL THE TOOLS to do the job already in it! Including glue/tape strips for holding the battery in place. There is an included card with QR codes for each individual iPhone device that link to a YouTube video guiding you through the battery change process.You have to be ready to work with VERY TINY SCREWS, and be careful with your screen, but if you can handle that, this new battery makes such a difference. I will be ordering two more kits to change the batteries in my parents' phones next!IMPORTANT: the YouTube video this kit links to instructs you to use a heat gun and to pry the old battery out of the phone. DON'T DO THAT.Instead the YouTube video briefly mentions the black tabs at the bottom of the battery. If you pull these black tabs one at a time gently, the white tape behind the phone will stretch out from behind the battery. You have to be gentle and the white tape will stretch out to like a foot long, but once you have done that with all the tabs, you will not have to use a heat gun or pry the battery, the battery will come out on its own.

I bought this battery thinking about the eventual disappointment, but I am very happy with this purchase. I have been using it for the last week and I am very satisfied with the quality of this product and not to forget great price. Also, very easy to install and they will send you all the tools needed to install the battery. Took me 10 min to install and for the last 7 days I have charged it once.

The tools in the kit were just the ones need to replace my cell phone battery. The screws on my cell phone were so small you could barely see the threads and the kit provides just the right screw drivers.

Battery worked for 1 day. When I plugged the charger in the phone it did not charge. I can't even return because I didn't install the battery until later that month and by the time I had already ran out of time for the deadline return date.

Not much I can say about a battery other than it fits and it works. Was about 45% charged when I got it. The tool kit is very good. I didn't realize until after I was done replacing my battery that there were included links to how-to videos
