It is the first commercial airliner with a fuselage constructed mostly of carbon-fiber reinforced composite materials. This results in an operating cost that is 10% lower than that of a Boeing 767 due mostly to 20% lower weight and reduced fuel usage. Two types of engine are available, the RR Trent 1000 and the GEnx. Its maiden flight took place on 15 December 2009, and completed flight testing in mid-2011.

Arrived Quickly, Well Packaged However, a Little Expensive!
I bought this as a present for my partner who is a pilot. It was a little expensive for what it is but I didn't mind. It arrived quickly and was in a plain box so he wouldn't see what it was. When I gave it to him he seemed chuffed with it and said he can't wait to get started building it. I can't comment on how easy it is to build etc. All I can say is it's a little expensive for what it is, it arrived quickly and was well packaged. I would recommend this to any Dreamliner or plane enthusiast!Thank you.

I purchased this for a present / the model itself is very good and the price is right ,but it should of been put into another box because it was damaged because of this /the model was ok but its a let down i have purchased othe item like this and they arrived in proper boxes

Easy build
Son-in-law is a pilot and this is his favourite Airplane. During Covid19 lockdown it was built, painted and admired whilst he was awaiting the call to go back into the air in the real version. He loves it.
