I know we're only one month into the new year so this perhaps isn't the boldest of claims but this vacuum cleaner is the best purchase I've made of 2024 so far. For so long I've endured vacuuming hell with my last hoover from the so called number one brand of cordless vacuums. When it did decide to work the suction power was woeful and the filter frequently got blocked so I decided enough was enough and having resolved to never buy another D***n again I plumped for Bosch as a brand I've used and trusted for other household applicances over the years and I'm so pleased I did! After just a few days use it's streets ahead of my old one in terms of suction power. It's so strong it even brings the carpet pile to attention. I did have a little concern after reading other reviews that the 36V battery was too powerful making it too hard to push around. I have to admit it is a little harder to push but not drastically difficult and the results are amazing. As a test, I hoovered the whole house using my old failing cleaner and then hooeverd again using this new Bosch Athlet. I was mortified to find nearly a whole bin full of detritis in the Bosch which just goes to show how bad the old one was. Anyway, I've rambled long enough. All I can say is don't hestiate to buy this super sucker and look forward to spotless floors all round your house too!

this is the 3rd one of these and the higher voltage gives much more suction than the lower voltage ones we've had previously. Not sure about the paper filter? the older ones you can wash out when clogged.good that the cylinder for collecting the dust fits all models in the range going back 4 years.

It looks great, but it doesn't suck anything up.Pretty swanky but feels like I have to be extra careful not to bump it into furniture lest it breaks.Battery doesn't last long enough vs. Cleaning power.Ot a heavy object. Anyone can handle it correctly.Over priced tbh. Got a hoover model instead and it works better and is half the price.

This Bosch vacuum cleaner is very suitable for a blind person like myself. I am a blind person and live on my own and I go through vacuum cleaners really rather quickly this one is good because unlike many of the vacuum cleaners it is easily accessible e.g. it can be taken apart and put together again very easily I believe that many manufacturers neglect to mention how to unblock or block vacuum she knows without going through extreme hassle I would block vacuum cleaners and cause them to see is out on a regular basis but with this one it is quite easy to remove the brushes the filters on the dustbin and put it all back together again with these I would give the bus company full marks for the consideration and I would highly recommend this product especially for disabled users. This will solve the problem thank you.

Can you buy replacement batteries

Light to move around with excellent suction on carpets.Takes little space to store. Very solid. I really like it. I suppose the only fault is very messy to empty. Fills up quickly. I like the fact it indicates when the battery is getting low and it has three settings for pick up.To sum it up, I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to others.

Bought this unit to replace another Bosch vacuum after 8 years of satisfactory usage. The unit was delivered with a damaged roller brush, the seller refused to deal with the problem and so regretfully the unit was returned and a refund was obtained. However, I would have been prepared to buy and fit a new roller brush but regretfully neither Bosch or other suppliers were able to source a roller brush. This is the first time over many years that I have had to downgrade a Bosch product. So sad!
