Pair of 24 x 1 3/8 inch Wheelchair Street Tire Replacement

Seller does not mention in the description that these are solid tires. Also, very shallow tread and these are not made of butyl rubber but made from a medium density foam, medium durometer. Would not last long. Also, the way this were packaged and shipped - basically tied up in a knot so the tires had a severe twist when unpackaged, installation would have been impossible. I set up a return process and the seller was very uncooperative. Had to resort contacting Amazon Customer Service and file a claim for a full refund. Avoid this product and definitely avoid this seller!

Time will tell how durable they are, but they fit perfectly work fine on the wheelchair. Attached a cable tie to hold it in place (not too tight), then worked around stretching it with a small flat crowbar and sliding it over and into the rim, adding additional cable ties to hold the tire as necessary. Made a final “tuck-in” with a small piece of wood (used a clothespin). I did it myself, but it would have been easier with two people or a third hand. They came bundled and twisted up, so I hung them up for a couple of days so they could stretch out a bit.

Ive used heat, hot water, hot tropical sun (we are near the equator), lp torch, and nothing heats this up enough to get the tires mounted. Others have mentioned they eventually got it done, but this just isnt happening. Ive tried several people with good strong hands, no difference. Even worked them with super wire tires, etc to work in, just nothing works. Im giving up and tossing them. Money wasted.

These tires are poor quality foam tires sold by an even lower quality seller. No where in the product description is it made clear that these are solid and not pneumatic tires. And dont for a secind think you can return these tires if they don't work. If you try to return them you will find that you are responsible to send them to shenzen china at great expense even though they came with free shipping originally. Long story short, dont buy a single thing from this seller they are out to take advantage of people buying disability products and I cant think of a lower quality person to do business with.

I was so happy to finally get replacement tires for a wheelchair we need. Now, I discover it will cost 60 dollars to be put on! There is no way you can put these on yourself! Very disappointed!

It wasn’t easy but they are installed. I boiled them in a very large gumbo pot. It softens up the rubber. Then used a couple clamps to hold the tire in place about half on, half off. Pried the other half onto wheel with screwdriver. You do have to work it on. Took 5 min or so each tire once they were softened. They will become stiff again as, and when, they cool down. Believe me, I thought there was no way they would fit. But they did.

Han tardado en llegar. Calidad precio genial. El montaje cuesta un poco.
