When I first bought this from Amazon in June 2021 it was less than one pound a bag. It is a very good mix for soups, stews, curries and casseroles. Particularly good in the slow cooker when some pre-made jar sauces can be too watery, this mix adds thickening, texture and flavour. I love the fact it does not have to be pre-soaked overnight like so many of the other soup mixes out there but the current price tag makes it too expensive. I'm now buying the 4 ingredients needed for this product as individual bags and then mixing in a storage jar. It's the choice of ingredients that avoid the need to soak - nothing magic about this specific manufacture.

Great quality product at a good price

Unfortunately one bag was split and the contents were at the bottom of the box totally unusable will ask for refund or new package.

Perfect for making hearty stews and casseroles. No pre soaking required - I use this in the slow cooker all the time .

Ideal to use during the cold months only 1 fault very expensive
