This item was perfect, fit out Jewel 260L very well and the lights that come with are an added bonus and last long.We did have an issue after a month when the top just stopped working, however the company happily and quickly dispatched a replacement, with free returns of the old unit.Very happy and will always recommend Iquatics

Well firstly, I ordered this Monday afternoon with a Thursday delivery date. Surprise, it arrived at 11.15 the next day (Tuesday) so full marks on delivery to start with. It was bought as a replacement for my 8 year old, Juwel original, I was a bit miffed having to unexpectedly spend near £100 but can't complain after it lasted so long I guess. Item came very well boxed and protected, took me 10 minutes to get at it ☺️ very easy to set up, has two rubber washers at each end of the tubes to prevent water ingress. Very solid feel to the unit indeed and to my surprise when I turned it on has one blue and one daylight tube which give off a very pleasing look and really bring out the colour of my fish. The old Juwel one was always a bit harsh and a tad too bright. Some folk mention it doesn't have an inline on/off switch which it doesn't, but I use a remote socket connected to my phone so no issue for me but not great if you have to keep unplugging it I would think. All in all I am very, very pleased with the purchase, just hope it lives as long as my last one.

I was sceptical at first after reading a few of the other reviews, but, really did not have much of a choice. It was either purchase a replacement part from a local pet store for double the price or take a gamble on this. So far, I am happy. The unit is solid, heavy, and robust materials. The original flaps fit perfectly. The only gripe I have with these, and it's not a fault with the unit, is the bulbs are 45w each (x2 ) so not very energy efficient and the heat emanating from the light adds to the aquarium temperature, to the point that I had to turn off my heater when the lighting is on ( I have a heavily planted tank so need good lighting). LED should be the standard, but the bulbs were included so I will save up to replace with LED equivalent tubes. Would be five stars if LED lighting was an option for purchase.Time will tell of the reliability and performance, but so far I am very happy and would recommend this if you need a replacement Manufacturer part.I have a Juwel 180 and this fits perfectly.

From the very start, this company was something different.I had made a mistake in the maintance of my light.I contacted the supplier and they were on the case immediately.I had the product collected and it was examined all within a few days.Andrew was amazing and kept me up to date at every step and was so knowledgeable.The light is brilliant fitting and when the package arrives back my light is like a new lamp. I mean it was like a brand new lamp, a few new parts and service second to none.I'm actually pretty stunned at the service I received. Amazing.Would have no problems at all of recommending this company.
