SQlab 612 Ergowave Active S-Tube Bicycle Saddle (12cm)

This saddle is more comfortable than the one I was using which was not cheap. My issue on the saddle was not numbness but more soreness mainly where my inner thighs and butt make contact with the outer edge of the saddle. The shape of this saddle seems to be made to cradle you. I'm not totally free from discomfort but it is much less. I took three steps to make my riding more comfortable 1- this saddle, 2 tilting the handlebar back so the hoods would be closer and 3- dropping a few psi out of the tires. I did the NYC century bike tour on this saddle 102 miles plus another 26 getting to and from I also applied chamois cream at every rest stop and felt pretty good at the end of the day.

The elastomer enabled movement reduces pressure on the ischial tuberosity (unequal pressure that was produced by different levels of left/right sacroiliac joint flexibility). Finding the optimum position on the saddle may require a couple of test rides.

I have tried a lot of saddles to stop getting numb. This one actually works. But it definitely feels different and is still a bit uncomfortable after 40-50km. It may just take a longer break in time and some local desensitizing since the contact point has changed.

Was soll ich sagen? Einfach spitze!Meinen alten Sattel hatte ich schon viele Jahre. Irgend wann wurde mein Sattel unbequem. Später folgte brennen an....hmm wie sage ich das jetzt....einer empfindlichen Stelle :D Danach kam Taubheitsgefühl.Als ich zum Schluss merkte, dass mein Gewicht gar nicht mehr auf den Sitzknochen gestützt wird, sondern einfach irgend wo dazwischen, Habe ich mich für einen neuen Sattel entschieden.Mit dem SQLab Sattel sind alle Beschwerden weg. Nimmt Euch Zeit, die richtige Größe zu ermitteln. Das ist wichtiger als ich es all die Jahre gedacht habe :)

Der Sattel ist absolut top. Kein Druck im Dammbereich selbst bei langen Fahrten in gestreckter Haltung auf dem Rennrad über mehrerer Stunden. Wichtig ist die richtige Größe. Manko: meine Leistung wurde nicht besser, aber das dürfte an mir liegen. ;) Absolut zu empfehlen. Investition hat sich gelohnt.
