Good solid build quality
Good solid build quality. Threads are smooth and free of burrs making taking apart and putting back together very quick and painless. Magnet holds the cover tight but not so tight as to restrict the rotation. Slick grinding action and tore through my herbs like they were nothing and the grind was very consistent. Light years ahead of the el-cheapo grinder I got a while back. There is literally no reason to spend any more on a grinder when you can get this one for around $20.

Best grinder ever!
Ive had many grinders in my day, but this one is far superior. First off, the grind consistency is perfect, not too coarse and not too far. The grinder teeth are very sharp and even though I've use it everyday so far, it looks to not have worn down even the slightest bit.You can tell it is a quality product and the magnet that holds the top down is very strong. Highly recommended!

Best grinder! More for your money!
This grinder is exactly what I expected and more. After having a 2.5in E-Z Grind for a few years, I was hesitant to buy a new one. Why did I need a new one when the one I had worked so well? I ended up recovering this as a gift. I got the 2in model for carrying around. The first thing that struck me was the weight. It was so much lighter than the E-Z. The teeth were also machined at angles with a diamond shaped tooth. These ground up my ingredients with such ease and to a consistency that I had never seen from any of the GGG's competitors. My friends with diamond grinds were definitely jealous. I would recommend this grinder to anyone looking to step up from the middle of the road models. The price can't be beat.

Great little black grinder
I have never touched a grinder before, but I needed one for my turmeric roots. And it does a great job of grinding the turmeric. But most of all after reading many, many Amazon grinder reviews it does not have any of the problems I read about in the negative grinder reviews. Thus I am very happy with it.

This email was from Daniel Adams the Co-Founder of Golden Gate Grinders and he wanted to know how I liked his product
I have never used a grinder before so I want to know how to use it so I went on YouTube to find a video but then I got an email. This email was from Daniel Adams the Co-Founder of Golden Gate Grinders and he wanted to know how I liked his product. After I talked with him gave me a link teaching me how his product worked and the proper ways to set it up. By far the best customer support from a company and on top of a great product makes this 5 stars well deserved.

Excellent quality
Exactly as advertised. It's an attractive piece with no blemishes. Works well and is precisely machined, so the parts move smoothly and silently, which is an advantage over most other grinders. The magnets hold the lid in place, even when turned upside down and shaken. I am very satisfied with every dollar I spent on this.

Very nice machining workmanship
Very nice machining workmanship, great quality. Grind is fairly fine best for vaporizers and small pipes. Maybe the 2 1/2 inch produces more of a medium grind, don't know.

For the price, it's tough to beat.
I did not receive this product for free or at a discount for a review. I bought it at full price, and must say that it is a very decent grinder at this price point. It feels like it is made of good quality materials, and grinds herbs easily and to a nice fine size. The pollen catcher is wonderful, after one use it had more in there than my old grinder amassed in 6 months (make sure you shake the grinded herbs in the middle chamber to facilitate pollen falling through the screen). My only complaint(s) with this grinder are:1. The scraper has no place in the grinder once its in use. My suggestion would have been to make the scraper out of metal, and then use a magnet or something to keep it attached to the grinder. Within 2 hours I already lost the damn thing, which is depressing.2. The threads in the pollen catcher aren't sealed tight enough, when in my pocket or just being moved around pollen gets into the threads, which is wasteful and ends up making the threads all sticky icky icky. Even my cheap, old, convenience-store model grinder had no pollen loss in the threads. I thought of trying a few thin layers of teflon tape to try and remedy the issue, but havent gotten to that.Would have gotten five stars, but for now it sits at 4 with those two little issues. Would definitely recommend it though, as the equivalent grinders from big name brands are upwards of 100 dollars. That's ludicrous.
