Olympia U.S.A. Luxe 21 Inch Carry-On, Deep Purple, One Size

Ok - so I tried saving a few bucks, and ordered a different brand that appeared to have a more rigid outer 'shell' (Rockland Luggage Melbourne 20 Inch Expandable Carry On, Champagne, One Size) .........When I opened the box it came in, I was blown away by the noxious chemical fumes. Yuck. I returned that luggage, and ponied up a little more cash for this Olympia.I ordered 3 colors for 3 of us that were traveling for a few days. Absolutely fantastic quality item, well made -- and zero 'fumes' right out of the box. No odors. The wheels move easily, the zippers help organize airport tickets, papers, magazines, electronics, etc.We traveled through a couple of airports, with no hassels for carrying on. In fact, most people smiled when they saw this bright, happy looking luggage. We received several compliments on the style/color as well.This luggage is a roomy 21 inches, and you can even squeeze another inch or two by unzipping the outermost zipper (like a pillow top that expands). Even when expanded, the luggage fit comfortably (with room to spare) in the overhead. The 3 pieces we had fit easily in one side of a 3 seat overhead compartment. (Even the flight attendant commented on how orderly the luggage was!)Wow! I was so pleased with this luggage. If you're on the fence - I'd say go for it. I didn't want to spend the extra $$ because we don't travel much, but I'm glad in the end I did.

PROS: Fairly lightweight bag and I love the color (the bright orange). It fits a lot more than I expected, and I'm one of those people who always over-packs. I also love that it's a spinner. The suitcase itself is very sturdy and protects my valuables when I decide to check my bag. The expanding compartment adds a lot of extra, valuable space. The smaller compartments keep me organized.CONS: The wheels and handle feel a little cheap. The handle sticks ever so slightly. And the wheels just don't roll as smoothly as I would like.BOTTOM LINE: I'd probably buy this again. It's very stylish, functional, and reasonably priced. Though I will edit this review if anything goes wrong (I've only had it for 6 months or so)

We bought this for a trip and were very disappointed with the quality of the suitcase.The size is OK, same goes for the material, but the wheels are terrible, they work on a flat smooth surface (e.g house floor) but when using outside the suitcase bounces from one side to another instead of rolling, we had to hand carry it throughout the duration of our 10 day trip.Would not recommend this to anyone else.Update- on the second trip using this suitcase the zipper broke, suitcase at this point, after 2 times of use, is useless, would not recommend.

Such a cute bag, lovely color. I was so excited.However the handle it keeps slipping when you pull it up and decide to walk side by side with it, it slips down and you have to keep pulling the handle up and find a way to lock it in place to walk next to it nicely. It is so tedious. Sometimes I get frustrated and just pulled the bag but it defeats the purpose of it being a spinner wheel. I wish it was more durable in the handle section because the bag in itself is a good size for carry on travelling.

Pros:- The bright orange color is very unique and I can easily pick out my luggage in a crowd. The fabric is also very durable — no tears or scratches.- Lots of pockets to hold various items- Interior expandsCons:- The handle is finnicky. If engaged at the first position, it will slide back down when not being handled.- You can't pull on two wheels, it will bounce from one wheel back to the other. It's godawful on concrete sidewalks and you look like a fool. However, push/pulling on four wheels is fine.

I bought this suitcase because it had decent reviews, and I absolutely loved the purple color. It definitely makes for a standout suitcase! The wheels are awesome, being able to roll it upright is definitely nice, but it also did well on two wheels when racing from gate to gate following my flight.Don't pack anything too heavy on top, as it does tend to over-balance and tip when you do. The handles on the side and top are quite stiff at first, so I had trouble with it from time to time. The locking, extendable handle was great. The inner lining zips open to easily give view to the back of the suitcase, so there's no reason for security to rip apart your suitcase.I really like that it has expandable pockets on the front. I haven't used them yet, but they are a great feature for vacation! Especially if you don't mind checking your bag.It is better than I was expecting!
