SANGEAN SG-112 AM/FM/Weather/Hand Crank/USB Solar/Emergency Alert Radio

I impressed with this radio. Picks up AM, FM and weather channels well. This is a must for anyone who doesn't have a home radio for emergencys. Charges via solar & mini usb cable (included). Sound is excellent for a small speaker. Hurricane Helene made a believer out of me, emergency radio is a must.

Well designed. Audio sounds excellent.

The radio works, the light works, the crank works. The weather radio doesn't. None of the stations come in at ALL. It hasn't even been 30 days, and I can't return it. So i'm stuck with just and ordinary radio I guess.Very poor product IMO.

Not what I expected. I have a few Sangean radios And I have zero complaints but I’m not too impressed with this little emergency radio. First off the solar panel will not charge it or at least mine won’t it might keep it charged if it’s already charged up but I set mine in the window seal after running the battery dead for four days and it got a few hours of sunlight every day and it did nothing but light up the little light on the front saying it was charging. The sound quality is great for a small radio it’s not screaming loud but it has a very crisp clear sound very high-quality sounding. Mine is about a year and a half old and it got put up in the closet and the battery went dead. I got it out charged it up and was going to use it through the summer for weather alerts and after charging it overnight it will play two or three minutes and then it starts breaking up and crackling and acts like the battery is dying so I ordered a new battery for it no difference it definitely has an internal problem I’ve tried three different batteries and no luck. The flashlight still works at least.
