Swix Gummy Rubber Edge Tuning Soft/Hard Stones

Cleans up surface rust and stains on edges fast.

Left my skis in my ski bag for a little bit longer than I should have and some surface rust had developed throughout my edges. The RED stone was perfect for this! I noticed a lot of reviews don't specify which color stone they bought.

This was helpful in getting a used board I bought all cleaned up. But it didn’t last as long as I was hoping.

It helps take burrs off efficiently and gently. They have more aggressive gummy stones but this is best for beginners. Very forgiving.

I'm happy with this stone - fits easily in your pocket or ski bag, and being a hard compound it seems to be holding up very well.

I have always ridden used skis and tuned them myself. I often leave them on the roof of the car for multiple days after a ski trip, yes, I know bad habit. While riding them typically cleans up the rusty edge I don't always get them cleaned up when it's time for a wax. Long enough time in between and I get the hard rust spots that don't just go away anymore. This thing is small but a big game changer for me. It's easy to use and cleans up some of the gnarliest rust and clean up minor snags without having to do a full edge tune. I've cleaned up some otherwise very rough looking skis with this and my mind is blown. Definitely a piece I should have added to my arsenal a while ago.

Excellent thing to have. One of the first things you should get when assembling a tuning kit. You can correct burs with this prior to running a file down your edge. Small and light enough to pocket for those emergency slope-side tunes. This also works great for de-tuning the edges on that park board. Grab yourself one of these and stop using that roll of quarters. This won't give you nearly as bad of a charlie horse when you fall on that rail with it in your pocket.

Takes some elbow grease on heavier rust but definitely gets the job done. Wears a little faster than I imagined, probably get 2 seasons out of it.

Benutze den Schleifgummi zum Schärfen von Angelhaken und das klappt super. Kann ich jeden Angler empfehlen, der seine Haken selber einfach schärfen möchte.
