These speakers sound great! I'm driving them with a Kenwood KAC-5206 in two channel stereo, (not bridged). They have a lot of punch. Seem very high quality. Rugged construction. There is one thing I don't like. The attachment method for the grills. They have not started to fall off yet but I'm sure they will. They give you some crappy two sided tape stuff to hole them on. I don't have much confidence in that. Seems strange to have an attachment like that with an otherwise high quality speaker.

Everything I could expect
These create a clear, well balanced sound without a lot of eq enhancement. I'm using these with a Kenwood dash unit and they sound great.I feel like they need slightly more power and a very solid mounting for the best bass output. They have very rigid, fairly heavy cones and really generate a lot of vibration. This speaker will generate the heavy, sub-120 Hz sounds, but without the juice, the low-mid frequency response suffers at high volume, and without a very solid mount, I feel like a lot of the energy is lost.tl;dr: if you like volume, pair these with a subwoofer or give them plenty of power and a solid mount and you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful highs and great mid range
Being an audio guy, these speakers are ok. Not deep bass but more for mids. I suggest to have a sub-woofer system to go along with these. Beautiful highs and great mid range. Anything under 80hz, speaker will reach its limits. For a simple audio system, these are great, for more advanced, these are great for Mid ranges.

I wanted so much to give this item a 5 star rating.
I wanted so much to give these speakers a 5 star rating but I will get to that in a second. The speakers came in excellent packing materials, no problems there. I was surprised with the weight of the magnets on these speakers and the quality of how they are built and how they look. In the looks department they get a 10 stars and this rating only goes to 5. They look awesome.I hooked them up to a new(er) Sony in dash unit and they are behind a 750watt Jensen amp. The speakers sound WONDERFULL, I could not be more happier on the sound they produce. I turned the clip down on the amp to about 300watts and they were barely breaking a sweat. These speakers sound and look wonderful. Now what I did not like about the speakers. The speaker cover grills look great but the installation of them to the speaker frame is awful. Included with the speakers is this putty -like stuff that you have to cut into sections and ever so carefully press into a groove in the speaker ring, Then, you line up the grill with the ring and the grill has these little plastic tabs that you have to push up into the speaker ring. I realize they do it that way so you wont have screws going through the speaker grill, but the putty is very hard to work with. It sticks to your fingers, and now I am having the trouble with the summer heat that is heating the putty up and the grills are either drooping down or falling off the speakers completely. (note: the speakers in my VAN are positioned in the "looking down" position so gravity is always pulling at the grills, you may not have this same problem if you install them facing up like in the rear dash of a car). All other speakers I have used in the past either have a screw in type of grill or a friction type of hold between the grill and the grill ring. If you have to remove the speaker for any reason you would have to remove the grill and by that you would disturb the putty and pull most of it out and then your left with this mess of putty to try to reinsert the grills. Anyway I think you get the idea... the speakers are wonderful, the grill securing method... not so much so.Pro:Speakers are built heavy duty.Speakers look great, the grill cover has a chrome oval detail that looks really nice. The speakers sound great.Packaging is good with heavy duty cardboard boxes and materialsCon:The silly grill to speaker connection systemWould I buy these again? Yes ! Actually after receiving these I purchased the 6 inch Kenwood Excelon speakers that match these. and they sound great as well but still have the silly grill connections system.I have told my friends and co-workers about the speakers, I would recommend them to anyone.

Great speakers
I installed these in my 1957 Chevy, They are easy to wire and sound great behind the back seat. Even with my low wattage radio. Recommended especially for the price. The only downside is they stick up a little higher than I would like so they are a bit bulky.

and the second I replaced with a cheaper lower powered Kicker that sounds great. I've got other Kenwood products that I love
Two sets of these buzzed. I returned the first, and the second I replaced with a cheaper lower powered Kicker that sounds great. I've got other Kenwood products that I love, but these have been bad for me.

Excellent Speakers!
A breeze to install in my 1988 Chevrolet Caprice. I chose to mount underneath the rear package shelf with screws instead of using the grilles that came with them. I used the old speaker for a template, drilled the holes, mounted and wired the new speakers in less than an hour! And they sound awesome with a matching Kenwood deck without an additional amp!

Very pleased.
Speakers arrived properly packaged in a sealed retail box. All the hardware & a nice looking grill. The sound is all I could ask for . I could have spent 3 times the amount on a exotic brand but it would be like putting a magnaflo exhaust on a minivan. It matches up perfect with the excelon head unit. Only issue is the wire & terminals included is a joke , the conductor is 28ga fine strand wire that you'd expect to see on a microphone , it's like angel hair , totally unacceptable. The wire is not really a factor as most everyone will run good heavy wire all the way to the blades on the speakers.I'm so pleased I bought a set for my wife's car.
