Even though this is super easy to install I had my trusty tech add this when he did a couple other mods for me.I jumped on the bike and all I can say is WOW! So mich smoother at low speeds... surging is essentially gone and the torque and horsepower is amazing.One benefit I was not expecting was this great rumble when giving the bike some gas and accellerating. It was not loud like a HD but sure had a nice deep roar that was not there previously.If I had to say one negative, and a very nitpicky one at that, the slight hissing sound from the massive amount of air being sucked in is a surprise but I am getting used to it and you only hear it stopped or at low speed. I actually think it makes it sound like a muscle car and some have commented about that sound too.This is probably hands down the most significant mod you can do... and well worth the expense. If you have a fuel injected bike there is nothing else to do... no remapping or fuel manager needed... might consider the Jack O2 mod but may not even bother...BUY IT!!!

It was extremely easy to install on my 09 V Star 1300, looks beautiful and makes my bike sound a lot meaner. Got rid of the pop on my throttle down and gives it a nice hissing sound from the amount of air being pulled in.. plan on getting a power commander and a dyno remapping after because it runs rich if you just throw this on. Perfect addition to my bike and I could now be happier
