Great SUP
I shopped around for a SUP. My husband told me to get an inflatable one. I was very skeptic. He got me this one for a Christmas present. We took it out on Valentine's Day. It worked just as well as a hard SUP. He purchased a battery operated pump for me. This thing fills in about 5 minutes and empties even faster. I am short and feel that the paddle could be just an inch shorter, but it works. I was so impressed with this board that I purchased another one. They are easy to store in my garage and throw in the car. I highly recommend this product. Great price. Great quality.

Getting my workout !
I researched paddleboards for months before deciding on the iRocker boards. I read reviews, looked up all the information I could, scrolled through forums..Some common questions you might have that I had and here are my answers:Q: Why not buy a cheaper off brand one?A: You might get lucky with an off brand paddleboard but I went with iRocker because of the excellent customer service hundreds of people have relied on. If you look at the off brand paddleboard reviews, a lot of them have complaints about how the board seam ripped or the inflating area doesn't hold air or there's holes in the board, etc etc etc. Tons of manufacturing problems and usually with an offbrand, you're out of luck for getting any help. Since I have the worst luck when it comes to buying new (but damaged!) goods, I went with a board that has reputable customer service. And thank goodness I did! (more on that later). Also, the iRocker board comes with a great paddle, one of the selling points. Be sure to research what paddles are good. :) And I wanted the D-rings just in case I wanted to use extra accessories! Some of the off brands don't have these or as many!Q: Why not just return an off brand one if it's found to have problems? Amazon return policy is amazing!A: Some of the problems found will be after the return window has closed. Maybe the seams will rip on your fifth trip out on the water, maybe 5 weeks after you buy the item. By then, you cannot return it! All iRocker boards come with at least a one year warranty (some come with 2!) which I felt better with.Note: With an off brand, you might get totally lucky and get a 100% great board. It's just a gamble. :)Q: Is it easy to use the hand pump?A: For me, a 5'3 who goes to the gym casually... No. The instructions recommend you to pump the board to 15 PSI before taking it out and let me tell you, it took all my energy to use that hand pump to get it to 10 PSI. I was dying. I had my male friends try it and they *could* do it... but it took way too long and was too difficult so I bought an electric pump off the iRocker website. 100% worth it. Also, even at 7PSI, the board felt 100% stable; we stood on it and it was fine. (But better to follow instructions and get it to 15!)Q: Is the electric pump necessary?A: I did not want to be exhausted before I get on the board so for me, yes. For others who are stronger, you can probably get by without an electric pump.Q: Any downsides to the electric pump?A: Besides the fact that the iRocker site sells them for a hefty price, the pump is very loud. I take my board out in the morning, around 9AM and I feel like I'm waking up the whales. There is usually a few other people also using electric pumps nearby though, so I'm still trying to get over how loud it is. Also, I've read a lot of reviews about electric pump overheating and then breaking so we hand pump to as far as we can and then use the electric pump the rest of the way. Just in case.Q: Why iRocker and not one of the other well known brands?A: I did look up a lot of the other well known brands and ... honestly I went with iRocker because it was cheaper and had all the features I wanted and I was going to use it casually and not for surfing / racing. I almost went with the body glove because that was the other reputable paddleboard brand that had great customer service but a good amount of people scoffed at that one (and the shape wasn't super pretty) so iRocker it is!Q: Any downsides to going with this board instead of another?A: I think the main downside people have mentioned was that the iRocker fins are not interchangeable with any other brands. If you lose a fin, you'll have to get the iRocker brand fin. Aside from this, I didn't see any other downside that people kept mentioning.Q: What size?A: I read that for most people, the 10'6 size is perfect. You can get the larger one if you want to go faster or be more stable. The iRocker site actually has a handy dandy chart for why you'd want to go for one size vs the other. For me, I bought one of each because my boyfriend needs more stability and he.. might be a bit slow. :3 I've taken both of them out on the water and I'd prefer the 10'6" one just because it's easier to maneuver around on land with. Out on the water, I didn't really feel a difference.Q: Is the weight limit really that low? (240lbs)A: Take this with a grain of salt but tens, probably hundreds of people have taken this board out with 2 people on it. We're thinking that they have that limit as a 'just in case' but I haven't found any complaints about putting two people on the board.Q: Does everything fit in the backpack?A: Yes! I can even put in the extra electric pump and also throw in a few snacks. ;)Finally.. I did have some problems with my purchase. The first problem was that I could not twist the pump into the hole. It just wouldn't work! Customer support told me there's a tiny screw inside the pump and I needed to screw that down lower and that fixed the problem. Yay.The second problem was that, try as I might, the fins would not latch on. It was on the very first board I received so I thought I was going something wrong. After getting my second board, we found out that the tabs that the fins lock into was .. uh.. broken? We told customer support and they mailed us the replacement part right away! I included a picture. The third problem was that two of the backpack clips didn't clip; they were loose the entire time. Thinking that it wasn't needed, me and my friend took the boards out.. While offloading them, he grabbed the strap with the loose clip and pulled to lift the 20lb pack out of the trunk. The clip was released and he punched me. -_- Contacted customer support and they helped me with that also! And for those looking for extra accessories, you can get:Kayak converterFishing poles (usually goes with the kayak converters)Crab cage (be sure to check your area for fishing laws)Anchor (super helpful if you want to nap)GoPro and Gopro holderLife jackets, lights, whistle (as required by law if you're going out in the ocean. Dont get a ticket from the coast guard!)Dry bag to put all your stuff inAll in all, I am super happy with my purchase. I hope this helps anyone looking into paddleboarding! Its absolutely amazing being out in the water!
