Rubbermaid Commercial Executive Series Automatic Height Adjustment Upright Vacuum Cleaner, 12-Inch, Black (1868438)

It works well, made with a level of quality/engineering/fit and finish rarely seen at the price this can be found at from time to time. It's not the easiest to manuver and it is heavy. Unlike many current vacuums this one is not a cheap plasic toy, it does resemble SEBO models in many ways (like a good copy) but this is a dual motor design (or so it says) and NOT made in Germany.

I bought this vacuum after my housekeeper broke 2 other vacuums that were more fragile. This is a heavy vacuum which to most would be a bad thing but given her history, she needs heavy and durable. What makes this vacuum the best I've ever had is the power of the attachments. I was blown away with that suction force.

Got this because my son sucks up stuff he shouldn't & beats the tar out of all machines not matter what I say. I was a maid my freshman year of college and was seeking something close to what I used then because we weren't easy on those vacs rushing from house to house & with what customers would leave around.This vacuum is great! The moment it grabs a sock or cat toy it turns off, it is very easy to take apart to clear clogs & the suction is stupendous.Only gripe is the attachment for the hose however that is over-comeable.

I have 5 of these in service so far. At the price I'm getting these for, it's cheaper to get a brand new vacuum delivered to my doorstep than the cost for parts and service for some of my other vacuums. Although they're made in china, they're tough little vacuums, and the quality and performance is what I expect from a commercial vacuum. Considering I can get 3-5 of these for the cost of 1 pro-grade vacuum, I view them as practically disposable. They're definitely earning they're money's worth.

vacuum very very heavy, does not work as well as my Panasonic, Dyson or even a less expensive Hoover. I am very disappointed in this machine. Suction is below average at best, hard to handle due to how heavy this vacuum is. I have a commercial cleaning company and need my vacuums to perform great… this one not so much. I am considering returning it if thats possible.

Vacuum fails after 6 months. Amazon actually bought the vacuum line for this brand but does not warranty it. Customer support wasn't even aware Amazon actually owns the product line for Rubbermaid vacuums.

Too heavy for my wife so I'm stuck lugging it up and down the stairs

I have had it for a few months now and have found it to be solid, powerful, well made, and reliable so far.. its just what I wanted after my $400 Dyson died after a year of light use. Its not quite as maneuverable as the Dyson ball but better in every other way. Generally I prefer bagless vacuums but these bags are easy to change with the Rubbermaid.
