Replacement CPU Cooling Fan for IBM Lenovo Thinkpad T410 T410i P/n:45m2721 45m2722

Bought this replacement fan for a Thinkpad T410 after receiving the "fan error" on boot up. Swapped the old fan out of the current CPU heat-sink and so far, the laptop has been running fine and it also now shows idle temps 10-15 degrees (celsius) cooler.

Product fit right into the location of the original CPU fan. Instantly booted up with new fan and has been running great since. Gave life to an old laptop that I was about to give up on. Make sure you put new CPU thermal compound to aid in cooling the CPU.

Fan works but will be slightly loose in the fan cavity as not exact replica of original fan dimensions/construction of plastic fan body.

Replacement was easy, much easier than it looks at first glance, and the fan is a perfect fit for the OE fan.While I had everything opened up, I took the opportunity to replace the CMOS battery under the upper keypad buttons on the keyboard.

Despite the fact that it arrived on the 3rd day instead of the same day as promised & was specified at the time I placed the order, and I had a workbench with parts strewn across it waiting for this to arrive for multiple days....and that I had to pad the order with a bunch of 'extra' stuff to reach the Prime SameDay threshold, which in the end didn't work out for this crucial item (ironically all the order padding items delivered the same day SMH) . The part itself works just fine, & remedied the "Fan Error" halt preventing a normal boot-up on a T410i, or OS lock-up/freeze very shortly after login if you could manage to get pas the fan error. The wire lead from the blower to the mobo header was *slightly* shorter than the OEM part lead....but not enough to create a problem for fit, just had to slightly alter the path compared to the stock one.

Have a Lenovo 410 that needed a new fan. Replaced it with this one and all working like new.

Works great! The 'also bought by others' for Thermal connect glue was a big help. Never woulda thought to get that too.The instructions on YouTube were vital for getting inside my PC. Searched for "Replaces Lenovo T410 fan"
