no it doesn't. ive left it charging over night and it hasn't caught fire so yeah but give it 20-30 minutes of charging and you should get 5 red dots

So since there is no overcharging protection I should not charge it overnight?

Never charge over night do not leave charger plugged in when you are not available

Where to buy extra battery? and price?

My guess get you size of your battery, power of watts and amps, thinks the one I have is 350 w go on amazon for that battery size
