Ringke Fusion Compatible with Galaxy S7 Edge Case Crystal PC Back Drop Protection Cover - Clear

As a proud new owner of the Galaxy S7 Edge, I was in the market for a case that would protect my new shiny phone without hiding the beautiful design of the phone. To achieve this, I started looking into clear transparent cases that weren't flexible. I wasn't looking for soft silicone, but rather, hard scratch resistant plastic. I ruled out colored transparent cases because I'm a purist with no personality. This left me stuck between the traditional crystal clear cases or one with a smoked bezel. I'm so glad I went with the clear bezel.THE PERFECT LOOKI think the Smoke Black color of the Fusion looks amazing! It doesn't protrude too much around the S7's edges and the smoke black color gives my silver S7 edge that perfect look. When flipped onto it's face, the clear back is visible and all you notice is the beautiful design of the phone.PROTECTION OR LACK OFIf you're concerned about drops, I would avoid this case and any other minimalist case. This case is thin.The side bumpers/bezel is made of a gripper material which makes it easier to hold while the back is a hard scratch-proof plastic. I've had this case for about 2-3 weeks now and no scratches yet. The front of the case has a tiny lip on the top and bottom to keep the phone from resting on the screen. The plastic back is thick enough to keep the phone from resting on it's camera. This case won't protect from drops, but it will protect the phone from normal wear and tear.DUST COVERSOne of the unique features of the FUSION case is that it has these dust covers. I've always been a fan of dust covers especially on phones that require minimal charging or on phone that have wireless charging. The Galaxy S7 Edge is both. And because of this, I opted in for a case with these dust covers because of the way I hold my phone which is with my pinky finger on the bottom of the phone. And because of the dust covers, it makes the case super smooth to the touch, but it does take a while to get use to if you're constantly charging your phone with the USB port. Tip: Go wireless!BARELY MAGNETIC CELL PHONE MOUNTNot everybody will care about this part, but I thought I'd mention it. This case, and probably most other cases that are thicker than this will not work very well with a magnetic cell phone holder. My all time favorite type of car phone holder is the magnetic type because you can just throw it on, however, since this case is clear, adding a piece of metal on it would defeat the purpose of a transparent case. And while the S7 Edge is made of metal and can stick rather well on a magnetic holder on its own, it barely gets the job done with this case on it. During hard turns or bad roads, I've notice the phone shifting in place. Just something to consider if this applies to you.WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS CASE?Yes! But only if you have phone insurance and you're not overly concerned about dropping your phone.Everybody else, if you're looking for protection, you're going to need a bulkier case that will absorb the impacts of a drop.

It seems like every clear case is the same. Slippery, glossy, too thick around the edges, or too flimsy to inspire confidence. While Ringke's Fusion Crystal Clear case is very similar to many other clear cases on the market, it does stand out in a few ways.First, this has to be the slimmest thin case I've used that still has sturdiiness of build. Similar thickness to the Spigen Liquid Crystal case, but with far more backbone. The case doesn't slip off when I put it in my vent holder in my car, and it fits quite nicely around the phone. The edges are deeply recessed, and very thin, unlike the Spigen Ultra Hybrid which I most recently tried. This allows the natural edges of the device to feel far more usable, and makes the device more comfortable to hold than with the sharp edges on the ultra hybrid.Second, and this is wholly a personal preference, disappointingly from Spigen this year, there was no smoke-colored frame offered with the ultra hybrid this year. Ringke does offer this color, and I find it looks fantastic with a silver or black S7 edge.Third, and most important to me, the feeling of the buttons is practically unchanged from not using a case at all. They are crisp, tactile, and easily pressed, but not TOO easily unlike on the Spigen Liquid Crystal. They even retain their clickiness! While this seems like a minor point to obsess over, it is undoubtedly a move that helps the phone to retain its premium feel. So, much appreciated.Lastly, and this isn't much of a bonus to me, but I know some will appreciate it: The dust covers on the bottom help the case maintain a smooth and consistent look, rather than the "one size fits all" wide open look of an open port. That said, if it gets in my way, it looks like it could be easily snipped with a pair of scissors, and I may go that route. Despite that, I highly recommend this case to anyone looking for a no-nonsense case with minimal protection that prioritizes fit, finish and looks over drop protection.Overall, here's where I stand with the case:=====PROS=====++ Tailor-made fit and finish, especially for a budget case++ Rigid, quality build++ Retains tactile feel of buttons++ Smoke color is cool++ For those who like them, the dust covers are a nice touch=====CONS=====-- Still a fingerprint magnet, like all clear glossy cases-- Minor quibble, but the port covers make the case slightly harder to put on-- Not going to mitigate drop damage in any meaningful fashion

Great case, excellent price!I've had this case for about two weeks now and its working great. The case is very thin and clear and fits like a glove on the galaxy 7. It does not hinder the good looks of your new galaxy or the curved edge. The case also covers the function bottoms on the sides, mini usb and headphone input. The cover on the side buttons does not hinder the functionality at all, and it's actually great to have them covered and protruding out rather than having to dig my finger tip to find the button. The flaps that cover the headphone and mini usb input are also pretty cool. They cover the holes and keep dirt/dust from getting in. It's very easy to open the flaps to connect your headphones/charger because it has a groove on the inside edge so you can just flip it open. The case is very very well thought out and designed. One little, simple thing, which amazes me the most, that they did with the case is the corner offsets on the back, which keep the back surface of your case from touching other surfaces. These little corner offsets on the back will keep your case from getting scratches from other flat surfaces. One thing worth mentioning is, if you try to plug the mini usb to usb adapter that came with your phone, the opening is almost not wide enough to accept the adapter. It will stay on, but with any slight movement, the adapter will disconnect. So you might have to take your case off for this adapter as well as changing your storage/sim card. Headphone opening is fine. Four stars for adapter issue.

La mejor calidad que he visto en un protector de silicón como este.Esta extremadamente bien diseñado. La parte donde van los botones es suave, no necesitas hacer mucha presión para que se active el botón. El protector expone total mente los bordes laterales del teléfono para poder ver la pantalla como se debe. Los bordes de arriba y abajo permiten poner el teléfono boca abajo sin que la pantalla tenga que tocar la mesa. Tiene tapaderas de muy fácil acceso en el puerto de carga y de audífono, me agrada ya que con esto no se le mete pelusa de la bolsa de mi pantalón. El protector es lo suficientemente delgado para que el cargador inalámbrico funcione con mi teléfono. El empaque en el que venía es biodegradable. Es excelente producto a muy buen precio.

Necesitaba una funda transparente para mi samsung s7 edge, vi esta en oferta y estaba muy entusiasmado con su llegada, cuando la recibí lucia muy padre un bello transparente y todo bien, hasta que una semana despues (si, una semana) el trasparente que me habia gustado desapareció, se puso un poco amarillenta de las orillas donde queda la pantalla ahora pues nada aguantaré un tiempo con ella a ver como va

I bought this based on the description of ultra slim. Unfortunately it is pretty thick on the back side, hence a 1 star deduction. It does gives a somewhat bulky feel.On the positive note, top side is slim; does not interfere with my wrap around 3D glass protector; wireless charge work as well. I also like the little caps, but this depends. I am using wireless charger and Bluetooth headphones. For those who are not, may be a nuisance to play the the caps every time you need to access those ports.

THIS IS THE CASE I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR! The smoke colour in the edges is perfect for blending the case in with the black colour of the phone. This makes the case much less visible and it barely looks like i even have a case on it now. I've had clear TPU cases in the past and they are always quite visible, but the black/smoke colour of this prevents that.

Quite an exquisite product , Initially i too thought the cost is too high but after using it for 3 months found that the product is worth the price for its durability and ruggedness it maintains for quite long . Kindly go for this product if you wanna use this for quite long.Especially the charger socket which was open and close-able type is the best part for my inclination towards this product . I would have opened and closed this part of the product for my charging purpose for almost 300 time in last 3 months and still remain intact like brand new.Only issue is a slight change in colour from originality of this after 3 and half month of usage which i dint find a major issue.
