Samsung HL-S6187W TV Assembly Cage with Projector bulb

I cleaned and vacuumed out everything in the back of the TV the last thing I did was install the casing I did not touch the light bulb I wore gloves and the TV does not turn off and on anymore by itself; it's been running very well for the last two days; it's only been a few days and I thought at one point I'd have to throw the TV away. I am extremely pleased for now! Thanks for the speedy delivery; it came before the delivery date.

Bought a Samsung TV secondhand. Started getting really dim. Then the lamp failed completely. This product is an exact fit for the original lamp and fully restored my TV's brightness and picture quality.The lamp is well-packaged in stiff cardboard and held in place via heat-shrink plastic attached to a cardboard panel in the box. Shipping damage shouldn't be a concern. There are basic instructions printed on the box for the replacement process, but it's plug and play, so there was no difficulty in the installation.

This bulb is amazing. It has the brightness in it for the price. Its amazing. If u need a new bulb this is the best 1. It works amazingly. The best. Its great dint look anywhere else. Plus always buy from exclusive bulbs. Great company.

Bulb worked. But housing did not fit my HL-S6187W. I had to remove the bulb and put in the housing that was in my TV. It would not slide all the way in.Update... I have only had the bulb in for about a month, already having issues. I turn the TV on, and will turn itself off. After reading about this online, it appears to be an issue with bulb.

Lamp lasted less than a year. Was not very bright. I suggest spending the money for a better lamp with brighter output. Lesson learned

I'm still rock-n my Samsung 61' DLP TV but we have noticed it was hard to see during the day. We had to close all the shades and curtains and the neighbors thought we were cultist or vampires. After pricing some new TVs which have come down in price quite a bit. I just knew I would end up spending a crap ton anyway because if you're going to buy new then you buy the best. Before I went and spent a small fortune I figured I'd try a new bulb first and whoa this baby is back to beautiful! Now I can see the picture again during the day with the curtains opened and shades up. The neighbors are waving again, and I saved myself a small fortune which I put towards my own 10'x10' Mevo+ Golf Simulator. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with a DLP that needs some rejuvenating.

I DID NOT USE BECAUSE MY TV DID NOT WORK

If I was able to install this in my 9-year-old HDTV and it worked as well as it is now working, so can you. Just go to You Tube and follow the simple directions. I saved over $600 in not having to buy a new TV.Surprised myself, in that I am mechanically compromised.
