Plantronics 975SE/R Discovery Bluetooth Headset with QuickPair and Charging Case - Retail Packaging - White

My third headset in 5 years as they always seem to just give out. If this one quits early I will update my review but as of now, I do love it. I am using this with a Samsung Galaxy Note II. Have owned Jawbone and Samsung headsets, and this has the most comfortable fit. I do not like over the ear fits because of sunglasses, and I am a medium sized woman so often the rubber ear pieces are too snug. This one fits very well and I often forget I am wearing it, something I never did with the others.Pros: The sound is clear, it is simple to pair, and picks up quickly. The charging case is terrific as it is portable and I do not lose the headset in my purse or bag. I also like that I could get it in a cream color as all of these electronics are black and can be difficult to find if you misplace them. The brighter color stand out on this one.Cons: No fancy software, find me signal, or high end voice commands. Also, if you like to listen to audio on your cell phone, this does not do that. It only send calls. Those things are not what I was looking for so I was not disappointed.For a good clear call, and a mid-range price this is the headset to buy.

I should have bought the black version. I didn't realize that the white one looks very girly. The white leather case that the battery pack comes in looks like a purse. I puled the battery pack out, and now it looks like glossy black plastic. Not stylish, but it doesn't look like I'm borrowing Mom's headset now.The tiny bit of white leather on the headset proper is almost irrelevant.Works great for phone calls, but on skype it seems that the audio quality is poor. It is extermely light, and stays in my ear pretty securely. Battery life is pretty short to keep it that light, but the extra battery pack that comes with it allows it to stay pretty well charged.

but no matter how cool it is in packaging, it still hurts but no matter what ear fob is used - it hurts in just a few minutes. i have tried changing to other earpieces, with no luck

I seem to frequently lay my phone down and walk away from it with the Bluetooth in my ear. This little headset looses the connection but reconnects as soon as I am in range again. I didn't realize how annoying my old ones were that didn't handle that separation so well.I put this on in the morning and take it off at night. It is so comfortable that I honestly have to touch it to see if I am wearing it. It is my 4th or 5th Plantronics and I've always worn them all day. I tried other brands before but never had this comfort or quality of sound. I wouldn't switch now so if the other brands have improved, I'll never know.Additionally this is the white Bluetooth. I think it is very sharp. It doesn't get noticed as much as the gold 925 it replaced, which is a good thing. I wish Plantronics was more into color. I know they tried it with the 925 and I loved it but I must have been the only one. At least this one was available in white.By the way, I didn't expect to like the white but I like it very much. The rest of the headset is what I would call a brushed pewter look. It isn't as stark as the black model.

Had to return because earpiece wouldn't charge in case. Got a replacement and now this one won't charge at all. I have used the black one and I know it's a good product but I'm thinking this one isn't original. I say that because the one I lost was washed in the washer a full cycle and left outside on a damp day another time and guess what... it still worked.

Already wrote an extensive review; really compact, love that. sharp looking; love that. Worked well for a while but people are starting to have a hard time hearing me; so not sure that's about... love the carry case; keeps a charge for a while... looks sharp in the ear and I often forget I am wearing it. Ok, riding around in Jeep with doors off in the city on it going about 35 or so- people can still hear. Mixed reviews... No final judgment on it just yet but can say no regrets just yet too.

I lose em, try other ones that are less or even more expensive and I KEEP coming back to this model! I pray they don't over think this design and change it. The case/backup charger combo is fantastic in and of itself but what I can't live without is the quick relase clasp on it that allows me to attach almost anything! I know it sounds unimportant until you try and duplicate the crazy simple feature. The sound is EQUAL to the way more expensive bose, or the new asus... and the features simply work better for me and is so comfortable in my ear.

This earpiece is a good fit for me when I use the smaller tip. It is light weight and is secure in my ear. My only complaint is that the battery life is less than the previous Plantronics Discovery 925 earpieces I have owned. I will probably buy the same model to replace it when it dies unless there is an obviously better choice at that time.
