Varavon Birdycam Lite 3-Axis Motorized Camera Stabilizer, 2.5kg Capacity

this is not really a review, but just a few things I wished someone had told me before...1. the Birdycam Lite uses a 16V battery !! and you can't find it anywhere here at Amazon USA... the 12V battery only works with the Birdycam 01 (the original) and the Birdycam 02.... and it doesn't work with the Birdycam Lite !! So, if you need a 2nd battery or a backup, you will need to work with Varavon Korea, or other seller... D-Solution, also from south Korea helped me on this, a big thanks to them.2. the rod used in the handle bar are 22mm wide !! Dji Ronin uses 30mm rod, and Ronin-M uses 25mm rod... so, if you are looking for any rod clamps mount for monitors / Shogun / battery for the a7S.... good luck... you can, I guess, add padding and mod some 25mm ones? or stuck with the 15mm rod at the top handle... and some 1/4" 3/8" holes at the left/right handle.... :S3. Varavon call the dovetail mounting plate to the top handle a "universal dovetail"... what they really mean is, it is a 38mm [1.5"] Arca-Swiss size Dovetail... now, the thing is DJI Ronin uses about 54mm [2.128"] mount, and DJI Ronin-M uses about 32mm [1 1/4"] mount ..... So, if you have any plan to mount the Birdycam Lite to a Steadicam arm vest, like the CineMilled Steadicam Adaptor or the Steadicam Steadimate... again... Good luck... If you only need the battery that come with it, and have no plan to add anything to the rig, then all these make no different to you. :P

I've seen this model at the varavon booth on 2016 NAB SHOW las vegas!pretty good stuff! It's more lighter than DJI's gimbal and has a wireless remote control unit which uses bluetooth connection.USER friendly function is the best reason to choose this one!
