M1 vs M2 via R1 driver which is your choice to make
One of my favorite past time is playing golf, nothing is better than being out on the golf course and enjoying your game with friends and even people whom you've just met on the course. I started with a Taylormade R7 set and have been playing them for over six years. I have watched the Pros using the M1 Driver and look at the distance they produce with the M1 driver. Eventually, my thoughts of buying a driver like M1 seemed far away but when I looked on Amazon they featured the M2 and it was way cheaper than the M1 so I purchased one M2 Driver and when out on the driving range and it had forgiveness that my previous R7 and R1 lacked and although I purchase the M2 driver at the preset of 9.5 loft it gave me more distance of about 10 to 15 yards. As I practice more it could produce more yardage so I'm content with my driver. Right now I am eyeing a lower score on the golf course and am pretty confident I will achieve it as I keep playing, so try the M2 and you will not regret this purchase, believe me and good luck with your purchase.

Wow! But maybe an issue with durability? Crown cracked after 2 weeks!
8/8/2016 Update: Well, the crown of the head cracked. Love the driver, good control from good swings, more distance... a little worried that the head cracked though. The black, carbon crown is what cracked. Nowhere near where impact is. I brought it in to a certified TaylorMade dealer and they agreed it's no fault of mine. I purchased it directly from Amazon and Amazon has been great and is replacing the driver as soon as they can. I'll let you know if it happens again...Original review:Can I say double WOW? My impression after hitting it a ton in a simulator before buying it, and after one range session after buying...The ball feels so good off this club. It just flies off the face. Mishits still go! Solid hits... KaBOOM! Really getting some consistent distance. Love the trajectory... I've got the 9.5 deg and left it there so far. I can work it both ways with control. I will update in the coming weeks.

nice driver, a little dinged up but good quality product
I must admit, I was a little upset when I saw there was some scuffing on the bottom and a scratch on the top of the head. for the price of 300 for a used driver I excepted it to be in a little better shape. I can live with it, because this driver is fantastic and like night and day compared to my old driver which was a Callaway Big Bertha that my dad gave me when he upgraded.

Good news bad news
There is some good news and some bad news with my new M2 driver. After hitting several hundred balls, and adjusting for a draw bias, I find that I am in fact hitting the ball straighter and longer. My mis hits are much better than before. However, I am still hitting the ball out of bounds ...only to the left. It seems that years of fighting a slice has resulted in a ingrained habit of starting the ball left. Only now there is no fade or slice to bring the ball back to the fairway..... it just keeps going! With time and patience I hope to get more confident that I can now hit the ball longer and straighter. The club helps , but you still have to execute.

Silly me
Silly me. I was so sure that by buying this new driver I would automatically start driving the ball like Jason Day. Didn't happen. However, this is a beautiful club that looks good in my bag and looks good while I'm setting up my shot. The club arrived with a nice looking (IMO) head cover. I'm afraid my skill level and commensurate athletic abilities will forever keep me in the "duffer" category no matter what kind of equipment I purchase. Hence the four star rating.

So far so good
Just came today. Arrived on time. No defects, came with the headcover and adjustment wrench. I took a few cuts out in my backyard with some plastic balls, and so far I'm very happy with the results. I previously used the Taylormade Aeroburner 9.5 driver and I still love that beast, but I must say I am loving the head speed I'm getting with the m2. Can't wait to hit 18 here soon, will update after I give it a proper field test

It's a great driver, not easy to adjust to.
I'm very happy with my M2 driver. I've had it for a few weeks. I'm hitting balls 10 to 20 yards longer than my previous 15 year old Callaway driver. However, it is not as forgiving and I have had to adjust my swing. I hope over time this will help my golf even using my other clubs.

Impressed with the additional distance.
I honestly am getting an additional 20 - 30 yards on drives compared to my Big Bertha. Really like it. One issue I had when I first started hitting it was that I was constantly hitting the ground with my swings. I compared the M2 with my Big Bertha and saw that the face on the M2 was a 1/4 inch higher than the Bertha.I just teed the ball higher and problem solved. I would recommend the M2.
