Beautiful
NKJV Holy Bible that contains both the Old testaments, and New Testaments. The text is very easy to read. I enjoy the simple, organized design of this. It also provides two maps that show the world of the patriarchs, and the holy land in the time of Jesus. This is a great option if you are looking for a simple design that puts more focus in the biblical texts. If you would like more references, maps, and extra information, this wouldn’t be the option I’d recommend. This design helps me stay focused on my biblical studies before expanding into deeper research. It also has a good feel to it, and the cover is of good, sturdy quality for a paperback. This Holy Bible has brought me great wisdom, and peace. Thank you! PLEASE NOTE: The two bends on the cover are from me, after I have received it. One by accident, and the other because I like to fold my Bible back and hold it in my right hand as I read it sometimes.

Very Nice Bible at a Good Price
I am very pleased with this Bible. It is perimeter stitched on the inside and outside of the cover and the cover is edge lined. If you don't know what that is, there are two types of cover liners on the inside of the cover. One is paste down and the other is edge lined. A paste down liner is a single sheet that extends from the edge of the cover to the edge of the pages. The edge lined linger consists of two pieces, one extending from the outside edge of the cover to just past the hinge while the additional one extend from the outer edge of the end page to the hinge overlapping the other liner. The liner is what secures the pages themselves {as one unit, the book block} to the cover. A liner that is edge lined secures the book block to the spine in a more secure fashion than a paste down liner. The edge lined liner itself makes the Bible superior as most Bibles are merely paste down. The cover is goat skin. It is soft, but not real flimsy like many Bible covers like it. The liner is calf skin which add additional value to this product. The paper is high quality European made and is rated at 36 GSM, which makes it thicker than most Bible papers. If you like to mark up your Bible, it is less likely to bleed through. It is line matched, that is the lines on one side line up with the lines on the other making it more readable. This is a single column Bible in paragraph format. It makes for a very pleasing reading experience. Verse numbers are small. On the one hand they are unobtrusive and enhance the reading experience, on the other, they are obscure and it can be difficult to find them. The font is 10.5. With my eyes {I am 65 and use them heavily, as I am an avid reader.} it is a little difficult to see, but I do wear glasses and certainly need them for this print. The print is a little smaller than print in a standard paperback. According to Thomas Nelson, the Bible contains over 72,000 cross reference verses. According to the Preface the notes contain explanatory notes, alternate translations and citations of the Old and New Testaments. I really like this. The verses appear on the outside margin of the page and are bottom aligned. that is, the verse lists extend from the bottom of the page. This is a little inconvenient, as they are not next to the scripture as they might be in most Bibles. But, on many of the pages there is plenty of room above the verses for note taking. And, there is even space between the cross references and the edge of the page of notes as well. The art guilding is beautiful. It is red under gold. The Title of the books, section headings and cross reference indicators in the text are red and match the under guilding of the pages. The Bible retails at Thomas Nelson for 199.00. If you were to purchase an equivalent product from R. L. Allan, Schuyler, or Cambridge, you would pay much for it. It is available on Amazon for 105.00. This is a great price considering all the features and the quality. I highly recommend this Bible. Anyone would be proud to own it.

An excellent budget-priced Bible; outstanding value for money.
I have recently found a couple of good, sturdy, easy-to-read, budget-friendly, no-frills Bibles that I can carry anywhere and not worry about them getting damaged. This New King James Version International Version (NKJV) Large Print Pew Bible, which I purchased last week along with an NIV Pew and Worship Bible, fills my needs perfectly.I am pleased with this NKJV Large Print Pew Bible. Published by Thomas Nelson, this Bible has a sturdy Burgundy-colored hard cover. The cover is of surprisingly good quality. It is durable and easy to keep clean. Another pleasant surprise I found for this budget-priced Bible: it has a Smyth sewn binding. (A sewn binding is always preferred, as it is stronger and more durable than glued bindings.)The paper, while thin, seems to be quite strong. It has excellent opacity; there is almost no show-through or ghosting. The paper feels nice and the pages are easy to turn. The Bible lays flat from beginning to end. The 11-point Comfort Print font is large, dark, and easy to read. The shade of red chosen for the red-letter text is also dark, rich, and also very easy to read. I found only one very minor area in which this Bible could be improved: it has no ribbon markers. (I believe every Bible, no matter how inexpensive, should have at least one ribbon marker.)I did notice something about this Bible that I found very interesting: this edition doesn’t use paragraph headings like most modern English translations do. Instead, it uses a subject heading at the top of each page. I haven’t seen a modern English Bible translation formatted in this manner for many years, and I must say I like it quite a lot.Because of the many positive attributes of this NKJV Large Print Pew Bible – especially its low price – I can heartily recommend it without reservation.

Premium Bible Excellence from Thomas Nelson!
Thomas Nelsons premium line of Bibles are some of the nicest around and this one is no exception. The Brown goatskin cover is soft with an amazing grain (smells fantastic too!) This is an edge lined, perimeter stitched binding with raised spine hubs making for a very beautiful and durable bible that will last a lifetime. The comfort print text by 2K Denmark is super easy on the eyes and the single column is a joy to sit and read for hours. 3 multi color wide ribbon markers really set off the look. The bible paper is exceptional European paper and there is minimal ghosting due to the opacity and line matched print. I don't think this NKJV has an equal in quality and craftsmanship for this price point. You won't regret buying this one.

Beautiful white and gold bible
Simply beautifulI have always wanted a white bible and with all this COVID-19 I have found things tough and I have turned to god a lot more lately so thought I would treat myself to a nice bible that I can look at to calm me down and of course read at this difficult time. The writing is on the rather small side so you may struggle but the paper is not thin as I thought after reading certain reviews and the book it self is just simply gorgeous. I love that Jesus is high lighted red so you don’t have to do it all yourself.I can’t wait to read this one and it’s the perfect edition to my book self.

Very pleased.
Very pleased with this item, quick delivery, well packaged. After purchasing, I read the comments and began to think I had made a mistake, however, I can find none of the faults that other customers mentioned, but I bought multiple copies, which as I said above, was well packaged, so that may have made the difference. the covers however are a little thin, and would damage easily if mistreated, just need to treat it with the respect it deserves. Would purchase from this seller again.

Just What I Wanted.
I’ve always wanted a white bible and this did not disappoint. It is beautiful to look at and would be an amazing gift too.It has a decent font to read and the bible is not too big, still easy enough to hold and read for long periods.Only thing is it doesn’t have the ribbon, so you may need another form of a bookmark.

Lovely Leather bound, but hardly "Large Print"
A lovely leather bound, single column Bible, but I really don't think that 9pt text size should be called "Large Print", it is only a little larger than the standard size (7pt?)(Perhaps Nelson's should take a tip from the NIV publishers and call it "Larger Print".)I have posted some pictures , which is what I always want to see, when I'm searching for a bible. For comparison, the final picture, of "Lamentations" title page, is from my (20 yr old) NKJV Personal size, Ref Bible, which at 11.5/12pt, they call "Giant Print", (which is what most publishers call Large Print.) This is my preferred Bible.Back to this single column version, the amount of print through is about normal, not good, not bad. The typeface is alright, better than the spidery fine typeface of my ESV Bible, which I find rather a strain.
