This mat is absolutely perfect. I am no longer slipping and sliding around during my workouts! The sweatier you are the better grip you have on the mat. The ONLY takeaway I have is I wish this mat was a tad longer and wider - comparing this to my other mat I had. Other than that - PERFECT!

When I bought the integrated mat with towel I thought the mat came with a towel, unfortunately I only received a mat and no towel therefore I was disappointed, especially after paying that much money.

This is a decent yoga mat. I prefer it over my previous one, so it will be the one I use routinely from now on.Pros:- Sticks to the floor well. This is the main advantage over my previous mat and if you have problems with your yoga mat sliding around, this mat should be a good alternative for you.- Wicks up moisture. I've had problems with sweat making my hands slide around on my previous yoga mat. Because this one has an integrated towel, that's no longer a problem.- Neat pattern. I like the design and the quality of the print is good.Neutral:- Very thin. I'm used to having a thicker yoga mat and I honestly would've preferred for this to be thicker. However, I know some people prefer thinner mats, so I'm listing this as a neutral feature because it's a preference thing. The mat is so thin that it's like you're doing yoga directly on the floor, although the mat still provides the benefit of separating you from the floor for cleanliness concerns.Negative:- Static electricity is common when rolling the mat up. It's incredibly annoying when rolling the mat up to be zapped by all the static the mat has accumulated. I believe this phenomenon is occurring due to the integrated towel, so it's a tradeoff you have to consider for the moisture-wicking capability.To sum, this is a mat that will work well for many people. I think the main factor you should use to decide whether or not to get it is your desired mat thickness. If you like thin mats, this mat should work well for you. If you prefer thicker ones, you might want to consider other options.

I have been practicing Bikram Yoga for 5 years. I saw this mat and had to jump on the chance to review it. Normally in my practice I use a regular mat with a towel laying on top (For those who don't know, Bikram yoga is practiced in a room heated to 100+ degrees. You should leave the room looking like you just took a shower). This mat stated it had an integrated towel on the top which seemed perfect to me. So in using this mat, this is what I found. . . The first impression was really really good. The design was gorgeous and the mat felt like it was excellent quality (Thick, durable). The integrated towel top was not what I expected, not a regular towel feel but more how a microfiber towel feels, maybe a little smoother The carrying strap was also a perfect simple and effective design.I inspected how well the towel top was connected to the mat, and after picking for a minute or two trying to separate a corner, I found that I couldn't pick it apart (this left a really good impression on me). Now came the real test, my actual practice. I took this into a few classes with me. What I found was that with the mat getting soaked in sweat it became a little slick (not enough to cause an issue). I feel that I sweat an average amount, anyone who sweats a lot during class would still need a towel over this mat. Also, oversight on my part, there is a pose that requires a towel over your feet to get a firm grip on your heels. . . this mat does not work in that manner for this pose, you would still need a towel. So unfortunately, even though the mat has an integrated towel on the top it does not replace the need for an actual towel. Overall this is an excellent quality yoga mat with gorgeous vibrant designs. I received this item at a discount for my honest unbiased review.

I purchased this product for my wife and she has used it every time she does yoga and is absolutely in love with it! We have hardwood floors in our condo and the yoga mat she was using previously continued to slide all over the place and causing her to have to pause her yoga instruction video multiple times in order to readjust her mat. With this product, she no longer has that issue. This yoga mat stays perfectly in place throughout her entire yoga session (which can last upwards of an hour). Also, from an aesthetic standpoint, she this it is gorgeous looking and could even be left out as a rug if she so desired. She also says that the material is soft and non-abrasive. I bought this as a gift for a loved one. I of course, opened it to inspect the product.First of all, the picture is gorgeous! I ordered the beach option. It looks so serene. The material and construction of the mat is totally different than what I expected. The mat is heavy and rubber-like, so when you unroll the mat it doesn't stick up in the air & keep rolling up while you use it. It lays flat on the floor. It's not as squishy and soft as I was expecting. The surface is firm when you stand/lay on it. The surface feels like microfiber, which does cause some static cling. When rolling it up, I had to stop frequently to straighten it out. If you roll it up all the way you can straighten out the mat due to the friction from the microfiber. (I hope all these descriptions make sense!)The mat comes with a carrying sling for easy transport. The sling is very simple to figure out.The mat is very long! My husband is 6 feet tall and when he laid down on it, the mat was only 4 or 5 inches shorter than him.Overall I am very pleased with this product! It is beautiful and I hope my loved one likes her Christmas present.I received this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
