Just what I wanted! I installed it in my witch book.

These work great and have a nice unique song choice. My only issue is that the screws and wind up shank are sort of short for the craft store boxes available that have somewhat thicker walls so I needed to drill out a recessed area for each to fit. Otherwise, they work well for the price.

I got a diy wooden box to make and it did not include a music mechanism. It fits perfectly. Thank you.

I got the Hedwig theme music box to go inside I miniature kit that was magic themed that did not include a music box but had a spot for one. The music box was so perfect that I ordered a second one for a book nook kit that I was customizing for my nephew. The music box fit perfectly. It only needs three screws to install it and the screws are included. Highly recommend this music box.

I bought a musical box that didn't work, so I pulled out the broken one and installed this one. It was a great fix.
