Excellent
The Sony HT-G700 Soundbar is a real audio gem. It's like giving your TV a voice makeover – clear dialogue, immersive sound, and a satisfying bass boost. Setting it up is a breeze, and that wireless subwoofer adds an extra kick to your movies and music. It might not be the fanciest soundbar on the block, but it's a budget-friendly way to turn your living room into a mini movie theater or a concert stage.

Brilliant!
The sound quality is a class apart! I play PS5 games & watch movies but no regular TV experience (DU set-top box) except when my folks are here. The sound bar is very good and I would recommend it. Perfect for a small-medium living room, the bass fills up the room and the powerful surround sound completely envelopes you into the experience.

Good overall performance, leaves wanting more audio separation for music
As a self-proclaimed audiophile, the soundbar is decent. For the price, you can't get a better option. But, and it's a big but, the music experience is only okay. I have Sony headphones and a Sony TV - I love Sony's AV collection, but when it comes to music, I expected more. It's not bad for casual listening, but when you really want to get into it, you'll be better off with a more expensive system. It's great for movies, it's almost stunning how they manage to place the voices around you (in front - 180-degree coverage is good). Any attempts for Sony to tell you that it's a good kit for surround sound is purely marketing because not many soundbars can achieve full 360 audio without rear firing speakers. (speaking from experience owning a true Denon home theater system with 5.1 speakers and a powerful amp)That said, it's great for the price. The bass module is sufficiently heavy for movie enthusiasts and more powerful than its competitors from Samsung in the same price range. User control is simple. The centre speaker unit is great, but the voice enhancing feature has to be turned on always since the background tends to drown voices. It's not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind when setting up.Refer to RTings before buying this, that was my guide and it's accurate.

Love it!
I have a Sony HT- FS150 before this. This is certainly an upgrade in terms of max volume but also the fact that it does not require an HDMI cable to connect to the TV. Good value for money.

Quality of sound effect
It is okay for small room, large room size this model does not give effective immersive sound

Subwoofer is really sick
Subwoofer bass is really very low when you are playing music or movie with average voice. If the sound volume is kept on more than 70 then only you can feel the bass somehow and that much sound can tolerate only when in party mode. Not giving good Movie experience . Samsung is better choice, even 2.1 sound bar gives really nice boomy effect at low volume.
