I don't like the rubber band however, these are badass... I was shooting at my target, and I missed windage was off during sighting and shot to the left. The missed broadhead instead hit the backstop which was 4 sheets of 14ga steel. Excellent penetration and durability through the 14ga steel. I don't recommend trying this because there is some damage to the blades. This was totally unintentional, but I feel good about the purchase.

These are some bad dudes! Fly great and leave a nasty wound. Shot a doe and it blew right through her she went about 30 yards.

Excellent broadheads. Fantastic cutting diameter, fly straight, everything. Except one hitch- my crossbow (wicked ridge warrior) throws those suckers at 200mph (300fps) and it would appear that the speed or initial jolt seems to really sling those blades open (or flexes the bands). For the first 30 minutes of shooting, I couldn't figure out what was wrong with the broadhead. They wouldn't hit anywhere near where they were supposed to. Then I wrapped the head with a very very thin copper gauge wire (just a couple of wraps to keep it closed) and voila! They started flying straight as an arrow! I would suggest two of the rubber bands to make sure they will stay closed at launch.Also, while carbon express provides extra blades and bands for replacements, they don't give you an allen wrench, and trust me, these screws are tiny! One size smaller than your smallest allen wrench!Good luck with your hunt!!!
