Perfect!! I was worried about damage during the shipping process, but it was fine. Looks beautiful, and it's 6 inches deeper than the old tub was. I am so happy with my purchase!!

What a nightmare, I thought I was going out of my way to select the perfect tub, it's 2" deeper than anything in the stores and has the Kohler name attached.Firstly, delivery of this takes up half a day. You get a 3 hour window for a freight truck to come, I guess I was fortunate that it was only 30 minutes past the window after reading all the ABT delivery horror stories. The way it's packed is on two pallets nailed to each other which makes it really awkward even with a pallet jack to move. The delivery driver to his credit did unload it into my garage and it sat there for a few weeks until I could arrange a weekend to have a plumber install it in my only bathroom.Fast forward to today, discovering there's a crack in the glazing and I'm up a creek, today's the install day. I did a check for cracks earlier, only to discover the crack right where they tape the instruction booklet!I'm stuck installing this thing, I'll have to get a reglazer to come out to fix this after it's installed, I can't wait a half-month to order a new tub / wait around for a freight truck to come pickup this tub.

The Kohler tub arrived when expected. We did have to call the shipping company to make arrangements for delivery, no problem. The tub was received in perfect condition. My son just finished installing it. It is beautiful! I would recommend this tub and Amazon for this purchase. Thanks!

I purchased Kohler Bancroft K-1150 bathtub a few years ago for a remodeling project that I had to put on hold. I inspected it when it arrived without taking it our of the box, and it looked ok. I brought it to the bathroom a couple of days ago, and upon further inspection noticed that:1. Overflow hole was not machined properly on the back of the tub, so one side of the hole is much thicker than the other.2. Legs (made of pieces of 2x4) are not on the same plane and not on the same plane with the apron -- will have to be shimmed.That's not the worst though. When I started fitting the tub in the alcove, part of the apron on the left side split from underlying fiberglass. I called Kohler customer support today hoping for some advice on how it could be fixed (with epoxy or some other glue). They said that it was baked and they didn't recommend any gluing. So now I'm left with the defective bathtub (which customer support gladly confirmed).

It’s difficult to describe just how beautiful this tub is in only a few words! Seems like all of the websites that sell it use the same stock photo and it truly looks nothing like that photo. It has so much more character and charm. I looked long and hard to find just the right tub for the small space that I had to work with. We were remodeling our hall bathroom that the kids used as they were growing up. And it’s quite a tiny room – the width is just a few inches bigger than a standard 60” tub and the rest of the room barely fits a single vanity and toilet. But I wanted to fit a deeper, classier tub in there without kicking out a wall or overpowering the space with a tub that was too big. I was tired of the builder grade tub that the house came with and our master bath had had a tub to shower conversion, so this remodel was my only chance to find a tub to luxuriously soak in. This Kohler Bancroft alcove tub fit the bill perfectly!I wanted a tub that was deep enough for the water to cover my knees and shoulders at the same time (I’m 5’4”) – this baby does the job. I wanted a tub that was wide enough for my big hips – this baby is perfect, with room to spare. I wanted a tub that was comfy to relax in – this baby is ideal. I wanted a tub that had a little softness and curve to her look instead of having totally straight, hard lines – this girl is a classic, with a lovely curve to her skirt design, which actually helps to reduce the look of the taller sides in my tiny bathroom. And I needed something with taller sides so it would be deeper, but not so tall that I couldn’t safely step over it or kneel beside it to bath babies or dogs. Once again, this girl topped the list. And the price was ideal compared to many options I had considered.I searched the internet for weeks. And I visited quite a few bathroom/plumbing showrooms in several cities, but they don’t have many alcove options on display because they want to sell their big, glamorous tubs for custom homes. I didn’t have that kind of space available. And though some of the big box stores carry this model online, they didn’t have it on display anywhere….not to mention what they do have on display is not accessible to step over, kneel next to, or sit in to get the real feel of how you like it. So I had a dilemma. I took the dimensions and did a mock build up of our existing tub with boxes and anything else I could find to get a feel of how this tub would look and work for our needs and then had everyone in our family try it out. And the result turned out perfect.
