STRONG , SILENT and very stylish, love it.

Beautiful finish, looks very stylish and very effective. Only minor gripe is that in my kitchen the cooker hood is on the lighting circuit, so every time the kitchen light is switched on it makes the cooker hood beep-annoying at night, but easily sorted 😊In use the hood is not annoyingly noisy, and clears smoke etc really fast.

Needed a quick replacement of the cooker hood as the old one died just before Xmas and this was the best priced Quiet Mark Certified available option, by a good margin.Overall the product seems fine. Arrived well packed and installation was very straightforward with just a bit of measuring, and a glance at the supplied guide. It was faster to install than peeling the protective film.It is indeed quiet in operation. A noticeable improvement over the old hood. If venting outside the metal flexi ducting is included.There are however 3 things that can be improved.1. The chimney is a bit short (83cm max) and can not be extended to reach standard ceiling height, leaving an unsightly gap. This might be ok in a refurb but if replacing an older unit at a fixed height from the countertop its not an option. If venting through ceiling check the measurements carefully.2. The LED lights are both the wrong colour(blue) but even worse in the wrong place (front) and do not illuminate the rear of the hob leaving a 20cm dark zone. In my opinion if placed at the front of the hood then they should have been angled towards the back.3. As with many things nowadays, the unnecessary beep beep beep noises of the touch sensitive buttons. It would be better if all these were completely silent.

It's one of the best hoods I've ever worked with. The low settings is so quite you forget it is on and the highest setting really gets rid of any steam/smell. It looks good and has ample lighting. All around a good quality product.

Works well, most importantly you can’t even hear it at speed 1.

I bought the Russell Hobbs RHGCH603DS Midnight Collection cooker hood mainly because of its sleek, modern look, and it does not disappoint in that area. The dark steel finish fits beautifully in my kitchen and gives it a premium feel. Installation was relatively straightforward with clear instructions.However, when it comes to performance, it's just average. The extraction power is a bit underwhelming, especially when cooking anything that produces a lot of smoke or steam. I often have to open windows to help clear the air, which defeats the purpose somewhat. On the highest setting, it also gets quite noisy—louder than expected for a product at this price point.The LED light is decent but could be brighter for better visibility over the hob. It's not a bad product, but for those who cook frequently or need strong ventilation, it might not be the best choice. If you prioritize looks over function, this could still work for you.Overall, it’s a decent mid-range option with good aesthetics, but performance-wise, it leaves a bit to be desired.

The look of the unit is good.The efficiency (power) is good and very quiet, unless on the boost level - but this is at an acceptable low noise for the extra power. Had a small problem hooking the unit in place with the Lower part of the chimney attached (as per instructions) but I removed that and installed the chimney separately and it was fine. Looks good. I do think that charcoal filters should be supplied as standard - as is the extraction kit.

We purchased this to complete a round of energy efficiency improvements at home. The product arrived quickly and was well packaged. It's very minimalist, but definitely gets the job done in terms of extraction. The built in LED light is also a welcome addition! We normally have it on power level 2, and power level 4 is more than enough to deal with any steam / odours from cooking. Very impressed with this purchase!
