Bully AS550Z Truck Bed Side Step

Solid, well built, and easy to install but a little awkward to stand on with one foot sometimes. Great to quickly grab something, not so good to stand there and organize. I'm 5'8" with a full size pickup so I use it all the time to grab something out of the toolbox. It's definitely worth the $48 I paid but I sometimes wish I had paid the 5 times as much for a TrekStep so I could put both feet on it. I have a TrekStep under the rear bumper so it's easy enough to drop the tailgate and step into the bed if I'm going to have to stand there for a while to organize things. The Bully bed side step is great for a quick grab.

Install on a 2010 f150 supercrew was super easy. Took about 25 minutes for one side. I only bought one side in case it was not what I was looking for. I like the look of it, time will tell if its durabe and the finish holds up. I am buying another for the passenger sideOne negative, is that it sits pretty far up towards the cab of the truck. It would be better if it could be positioned further back towards the rear. Would make getting into the back of the bed easier..but its a function of the structural support on the f150, so no adjustment is available

2018 Ram Dually! Def doesn’t fit like it says, but I have a welder and extra steel and can make it work ! It is a well built step and sturdy and willing to make it work ! Can’t find anything else an the net that would work !

I installed this unit on the drivers side of my 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 Dually. There was no interference with the fuel fill neck.The hole present in the bed crossmember was to far back as I wanted as much of the step past the side of the bed when in use. I opted to drill a hole and move the assembly closer to the outside of the bed. Total install time including relocation was less then 30 minutes. As others, I only ordered one unit to see if I like it and have already ordered one for the other side.

Haven't installed it yet but it seems solid. Only dissapointment was that I wanted black like the picture shows, but it came silver color.UPDATE. Drop rating to 1 star because of advertising and return shipping cost. Does not fit my 2011 Ram even though it's listed as fitting that year. It even says it fits on the box. I can return them, but unless I drive 25 miles I need to pay for return shipping. Very disappointed!

it should be mounted about 2 inches further back towards the wheel. Had to add a 1/2 inch spacer to drop the bracket down far enough to clear bottom edge of truck bed. this might be just because its a short bed? 2005 model

My husband installed the first step in about 45 minutes on our 2005 f150. He said Ford was kind enough to punch a large hole in the cross member so no drilling was necessary. Good instructions and a well built unit. Can't wait for the second one to come for the other side. We are happy campers now.

This was a great idea.My chevy is lifted 6 inches on 37 s.Can't just reach over the bed side.Very drought.You dont feel like it's going to break.Very nice
