I was not impressed when this arrived along with a standard extension and single 13 amp plg and socket. There is a picture clearly showing a single plug and socket - BUT there is no chance this will fit. The item is made for small slim plugs and sockets. Certainly no good for EV granny cable extension protection. I am forced to give the fourth star as the measurements are published - read them carefully

These are such good value as you get three in the pack which I couldn't believe considering the cost. They are so quick and simple to install. Just perfect.

I was looking for an extra, compact dry box for outdoor appliances and Christmas lights.I found this dry box expensive but somehow didn’t read the product description. So was surprised to receive it as a set of three dry boxes. Therefore the price per dry box is actually fair, although the quantity is too much. And I would have preferred to spend money on only a single box. In particular since none of my many UK plug extension cords fits in the box.The box its self is of good quality, made of sturdy plastic that snaps together well with a two-point clip mechanism.I only found that the cable holes are not that versatile i.e. Christmas decoration lights have thin wires. My other dry box offers good rubber protection around the holes even for such thin wires, but this box is more for standard thick electrical wires only.We do have a place abroad where I can actually use these dry boxes that seem to be made for continental plugs. But I don’t need three of them and I still need one here in the UK.. so ultimately I had to return.

It does what it says ie it protects your connection from the elements

I should have paid closer attention to the other reviews that comment on the capacity of the enclosure. Having lived in Germany for a decade, I am convinced this outdoor box is intended for the European market, i.e. Schuko plugs and sockets - see images appended of this type of plug & socket. It should not be available for sale in UK. Because it proved impossible to close the lid (see other photo), I can only guess at the sturdiness and how weatherproof it is. Going back to Amazon in the morning.

This protects a plug on my car charger which sits outside in the rain in all weathers, well designed, many clips which keep it tightly sealed and a good size. I am impressed.

Would have given 5 stars if the cable clamps captured the cable but often found cable came out of clamps. The clamps have a gap below that allows cable to escape when trying to fit in situ. Used covers over connection between thermostat and heat mat in greenhouse.
