Dwyer Digital Thermo-Hygrometer, 8" Probe Length

It's a good device, just a bit slower than some of the more expensive brands. I have picked up a nicer unit but still keep this around for inexperienced workers to play with.

I ordered this item and it came out of tolerance. The vendor changed it for a new one, and the new one is out of tolerance too. I need a total refund for the purchase.Please contact me. Thank you.

We've purchased and had to send for service 2 of these units within 1 year of use. They are used sparingly 1 / month as as validation units. The issues encompass material quality and accuracy.Poor plastic button covers, they crack and break very quickly, exposing the circuit board and make the unit near impossible to use as little pieces will fall out.Poor calibration stability, they CANNOT be recalibrated in the field, you'll need to send them in; plan on doing this every 6 months. ALSO, they won't fix any other issues with the unit when you do send it in... also...plan on a 1 to 2 months turnaround for the re-calibration.Poor battery connector...literally, Radio-Shack (RIP) could have provided a better connector for the battery.Given the price of this unit, the quality value is horribly unbalanced. I'm trying a Cooper product next.The good parts, the case never wore-out, go figure; and the probe appeared to be solid (nice heavy stainless steel material construction), but was essentially useless due to the calibration issues.
