I saw this pocket staff in a video somewhere and I was like I neeeed one for self defense purposes obviously. So I found this pocket staff and immediately bought one even though the shipping time was to take 2 months. Fast forward 2 months and this thing finally shows up in the mail after I completely forgot about it and my day was immediately filled with excitement. I rip open the package and release the spring and poof instant pocket staff. My joy was immeasurable. Fast forward a few minutes and I try and put the thing back to pocket size and.... I can’t.... the thing was permanently stuck in staff mode and was actually impossible to size it down again. I don’t think the worlds strongest man could shrink it back down. It was just stuck and my day was ruined. I was initially going to return the dang thing but I can’t get it back to pocket size. How am I supposed to return a 5ft staff? To much effort was required to return it so I kept it and now I use it to turn my lights off from my desk. 4/5 excellent light switch.

Absolutely terrifying. The spring loaded function is so powerful that when it accidentally opened it punched right through both sides of the thick cardboard mailing box it came in. Trying to close it up my hand slipped and the pole shot open and hit me square in the forehead and left a nickle sized lump and bruise!! I could’ve easily lost an eye. Everything about this is awfu. l it’s cheaply made, the metallic color is all over the place. It’s almost impossible to close back up once it’s opened. It’s so easy for it to slip out of the closed position unintentionally.We returned it but I was actually worried it might spring open in transit and injure a postal worker! So we wound duck tape several times it from every angle to ensure that it could not possibly open in the mail. I cannot stress enough how horrible/ scary and downright dangerous this piece of garbage is. IT NEEDS TO BE TAKEN OFF THE MARKET.

I mean if you like a gimmick stick that fits in your pocket this tiny thing gets excited in a millisecond but only gets sturdy enough to swing around, not hard enough to get the job done if ya know what I mean. A bit touchy at times, do not aim at the face or it will come out and maybe hit you in the eye! Keep your mouth closed if you see it start to come at you I already made that mistake once, it had a bitter metallic taste to it. All it takes is a little 2 finger squeeze and this thing shoots out immediately. A little hard to get small again, recommend playing with it for a bit before trying to get it to go down again.

So we received the package today and the gloves were stained and the staff was taped up so when you open it and possibly hurt someone. Also there was a pill in the package. It was ondanestron. What a dangerous package. After my 13 yr old got it untappped it would not open all the way. No lock on it to keep it shut. Totally misleading!!!! I want a refund!!!!

I gave this to my son as a part of his christmas gift. He LOVES it. I warned him of the potential injury and had him watch the instructional video. After that he was popping and twirling this thing to no end. He was happy I got the longer one. I'm just happy he liked it.
