Nothing special but gets the job done
I missed the return window on these but I probably would have returned them had I not needed a keycap set for my new board. I'm only using these until I get my hands on an ideal set. Finding decent UK ISO caps in anything other than plain old white on black is kind of hard work, with a lot of sets that are both ANSI/ISO compatible missing some vital keys and good sets that do being expensive and often out of stock or on groups buys. With this set you do get the correct UK ISO keys and actually includes the 2 and 3 number keys as well as the '@ and #~ keys that are often missing or incomplete in other sets. The feel is rather smooth and almost slippery unlike the rough texture you might expect. This does mean they pick up a fair bit of shine from finger oils. The finish of the keys is quite rough around the edges which is quite obvious on the enter key shown in the picture.Legends are generally good but inconsistent font weight and spaces. Most obvious on the 2 & 3 keys which seem to be slightly different to the rest of the number row, however they fit more with the alphas which have a rather large design. There is a good selection of keys available, probably best for full size standard keyboards. For my GMMK Pro I couldn't find the exact layout I wanted. There are 2 x 1u Win keys but no 1u Alt or Ctrl. There are 2 Fn keys labelled Fn1 and Fn2, I decided to use one of these as an End key. There is a 1u End key in the set but it is designed for the 3rd row so would be out of place on row 1. Only R4 and R3 Del keys, only an R4 PrScr. Other weird things like an R4 and R2 PgUp with an R3 and R1 PgDn which is ok but if you wanted PgUp and PgDn on R3/R2 you are out of luck. Not really a big deal for most as this set will be fine with a standard KB layout Full size or TKL, but something to be aware of if you have a custom layout keyboard. The biggest complaint is the spacebar which keeps sticking. The key itself is straight and there is no obvious warping that you might expect from a PBT spacebar. However, it seems to be about 1mm too short which causes just enough friction to make it feel stiff and mushy all at once and for it to keep sticking. Its basically unusable so I swapped it out for a spacebar from another set. Had I not swapped the spacebar myself and gotten used to it, I would have returned these for this alone. Its just my sheer laziness that I missed the return window. Something to consider if you don't have a spare spacebar lying around, this does seem to be a common problem with the HK Gaming keycaps so I'm not sure how much luck you would have just exchanging it for another set from the same brand. All in for a PBT keycap set that is fully UK ISO compatible and in stock for a reasonable price with prime delivery its hard to totally write off this set. It gets the job done, for the most part. They look pretty decent as long as you don't look too closely. But just check the keys if you have a custom layout board and be mindful of the spacebar issues.

Budget PBT keycaps that do the job
Really pleased with these now they are installed onto my Filco Majestouch Convertible 2. When they arrived, and during install, I had my doubts...So this review relates to their install onto, and use with, the Filco. You may well have a different experience on other brands of boards.Chose these because of UK ISO support and because I love the retro look of the old Reuters G80-9009 keyboard. The spacebar issues are well documented in other reviews and I can confirm that, on my 9009 set, the tolerances are out. Luckily the Filco uses Costar stabilisers so the distance between the lug sockets being a bit out did not matter the way it would with other stabiliser types (where it would cause sticking). The issue I did have however was that the stabiliser sockets in the spacebar did not securely hold the stabiliser lugs in place which meant they kept falling out. I was ready to pack up the set and send it back because of this as the spacebar was useless without a properly functioning stabiliser. I was thinking of gluing them in, but in the end I managed to use a plastic wrap layer to secure them in place. Seemed to do the trick and happy with the results. I did the same to all the other caps which were installed with stabilisers. The profile is like cherry but less high. They are about 2mm shorter than my Filco ABS caps which are OEM profile. Still look good on the board and no issues with getting used to them. They are a PBT cap with a smooth texture which is more what you would expect with ABS, but you are not going to get the ABS shine down the line. I like the texture. Dye sub legends mean they will not wear off, as is happening with my current stock Filco ones.I like bumps on my F and J keys. These are present but more subtle than most. I can live with them.Yes, the legend printing is out a little for the UK ISO keys, as discussed in other reviews, but it really does not bother me as I'm not overly fussy. You have to look hard to notice it.So a definite upgrade to the stock Filco ABS caps and I don't feel the need to look any further. I may get different HK Gaming sets to mix it up in the future but honestly can't see the need to spend 3x or 4x the amount of money for GMK or EnjoyPBT equivalents - I'm just not that much of a diehard enthusiast.

Very good for price - Spacebar is fixable!
First of all the quality is pretty good, it seems the qc surrounding alignment of prints may be fixed? As there were no issues with my set at all. As for the spacebar however, there was some minor bowing in the middle whereby it was slightly raised when I put it on a flat surface which meant that the bar would get stuck when it was clicked. After watching a video on youtube, you can put the spacebar in a bowl of boiling water straight from the kettle and press on the affect bowed area. This solved the issue and now the spacebar works like a dream. No excuse for the bad QC and hence the 4 stars but it will be hard to find another set that has the correct UK keys and still maintain a decent balance of quality and price.NOTE: I would also like to mention that if you (rather unfortunately like me) have north facing switches cherry profile keycaps (like these), this will cause interference when you press the key creating an unpleasant sound. You can use washers to put on the stem to alleviate the problem (preferably hard) using 1 (4mm ID 0.5 CSA) o-ring or some m4x6x0.2 washers (and stack 3 of them). Row 3 is typically affected so only need to put these washers there.
