We do not make any claims with this product and we cannot say that it does in fact re-mineralize your teeth. We have had a lot of customers call in about problem they have experienced with their teeth and gums but had great success in using the Earthpaste. I hope this helps answer your question. What is plastic container made of ? What color is the little square on a tub ?

The tube for Earthpaste is a layered, BPA free, recyclable plastic. If you are referring to the eye mark square on the crimped end of the tube, I believe that on our packaging it is black. The eye mark is present for the packaging equipment to properly line up and close the tube. There is an electronic "eye" that seeks out that mark and aligns the packaging to seal it in the right place.

Why does this product contain trace amounts of lead??!! I also thought it's safe to swallow too but according to the box it came in it says not to

Thank you for reaching out to ask this question. Our product contains TRACE amounts of lead just like any other product of the earth (vegetables, etc). In order for us to sell the product in the state of California, we were required to add the Prop. 65 Warning (which is also posted on buildings in California). We have recently made some changes to the labels and the way that we advertise our products. We currently want to focus our products on cosmetic use which is why all of the powder is labeled for facial mask use. However, the clay is still the exact same clay that had the internal label guidance on it, and many customers still use it that way (we cannot make claims on the product and we cannot give you guidance for ingesting). It's a pure Bentonite Clay and we don't add anything or take anything out of the product. We simply put a label on it and guidance for using it as a facial mask but it is known as a clay of 1,000 uses. Feel free to call us at anytime for any questions you might have!
