FAILED
First this drive is almost 5 years old, DOM 1/2015. And it wa DOA, FAILED status on H700 controller. It can see MFC and model but all else is failed. So leaves me with a server partly down for even longer as i source another drive.Vendor did refund, but drive was already old and things like that should be noted clearly in description.

Just plug and play
One of my hard drives failed on my Dell Poweredge T300 so I order this replacement and swapped it out within seconds. I simply powered off the failed drive, removed, and inserted the new drive. The OS immediately started the process of adding the drive to my RAID volume with zero downtime.Pros:Original DrivePricePlug and play within Dell's plug and play chasisCons:None

Two Drives, One Dead
Bought two of these for a Dell PowerEdge R710. One started blinking yellow light (fault) and when I pulled it out, you could actually hear the head scraping against the platter, like nails on a chalkboard. I don't really care how many power on hours they have, or what date of manufacture (07/2014) it is, I've got 8 year old drives still chugging along with zero bad clusters, but this one is dead as can be and I can't help but worry about the other one now.

Selling "New" drives already out of warranty!
Drives are already 4 years old and out of warranty. Only found this out after one of four died in my Dell rack mount. Really not cool to sell products as brand new yet have them actually be 4+ years old!

BRAND NEW - NOT REFURBISHED
These are BRAND NEW drives. Showed zero powered on hours and usage. Cannot be beaten for price/performance/capacity. I use these in my PowerEdge R710 with the H700 RAID adapter. Replaced a mix of Seagate Consumer SATA drives with these and they are working flawlessly.

Majority of them work for a while longer, got them for the chassis brackets
These are NOT new, but 3-5 year old HDD's pulled from a data center most likely. I bought 14 of these for a NAS experiment at home, had some good success so I decided to have my office purchase 28 to set up a couple of low-priced storage using FreeNAS. I've only lost one HDD in 7 months at home, but have lost 4 completely and am constantly dealing with ZFS reports of errors on 6 more which are probably about to fail at the office. Over all, I would have to say, it was worth it - I needed the drive caddys anyways so it was a fair deal. I'm debating buying new drives to replace the failures. I'm not mad because this was my expectation, but it's definitely shady to call these "new".
