It took me quite awhile to find a photo album that I liked well enough to put our photos in from our road trip out west last year and when I received this one, I was quite pleased. Being able to put a picture in the front cover made this ideal, since I wasn't able to find any that perfectly represented our trip.The capacity of this album is pretty good at 200 photos, however you do have to keep in mind that if any of your 4x6 prints are in portrait orientation, you'll either have to deal with them in landscape arrangement or print them in 5x7. This was a little frustrating since I already had many of our photos printed and reprint a few.My biggest and really only legitimate complaint about this album is that the film over the pages and the dividers are not very sturdy. I had a few pages where the divider separated and the photos now like to slide around a bit. The plastic film is quite thin and you should exercise caution while putting pictures in the pages. This album is not one that is meant to have pictures taken in and out of with any frequency. All in all, pretty satisfied with this purchase.

I really like the cover and design of this travel photo album, particularly the place for the photo on the front cover, the space for writing notes and captions inside beside the photos, and the amount of photos that it holds for this size album. The only downside is that the plastic photo covers are cheaply done. They tear easily when you are trying to put your photos in which keeps the photos from staying in place and the plastic slides off the top where it should stay in place. I will probably glue the photos in with an archival quality glue stick to remedy this. Overall, a good purchase.

What I do like is that you can store 4x6 pictures and 5x7. I like the memo pad on the side and the cover map is on the inside pages also. The things I don't like is that you have to tape down the picture for the front cover. Also you have to be careful not to rip the plastic pages. This does seem pretty sturdy but I am already seeing wearing on the side binding. If you aren't going to be showing pictures too much this is fine but if you are going to be displaying it a lot expect a little wear. This was the look I was looking for so I am happy overall.

I would have given it a five, but after I filled it up, I can see the glue separating from the sewn binding. This may be due to the heavy use I just put on the binding as I was filling it up. I put in a lot of 8 x 10's and cut them right at the binding crease. (Some pictures of our trip just had to be big to get the full effect!)

I have great hand dexterity so inserting the photos without damaging the plastic was no problem for me. The album is perfect for travel photo journals. I love the front insert area to highlight one theme image and I like that it is square shaped to enhance the album design (You may wish to crop a photo to fit perfectly but I was able to use a 4 x 6 that just extended upward in the pocket.) The external plastic cover isn't super durable if you want children handling the albums, but with reasonable care it may work just fine.

The cover was better than I expected after reading the reviews. I love the ability to put in a 5x7 or two 4x6s. I am using it to store postcards I have collected from various travels and this works perfectly. The slots are a little tight so it takes a little effort to get the 4x6s in.

Price plus shipping is the true cost. Rather than buy an album on a cruise, this has more slots and is a lot more reasonable. I especially like having a slot on the front. It is an attractive way to differentiate each collection. I intend to buy more of these.

Overall it's fairly well built and very pretty. The cover and the pages are very thick, the only problem I found is that you have to be very careful when inserting the pictures because the pockets are very flimsy and sometimes they detach from each other. Other than that, It's a good product.

Useful album to store your loved photos- get out the shoebox, and build a history. There is space to describe the pics and events.

Material wise a bit flimsy, but its a pretty album, the outside looks nice, insides just not as good quality as i expected.

Only 40 pages inside so a total of 160 photos and not 200 as advertised.

Smaller than I thought it was going to be for the size of the album although I like it very much.
