I LOVE This Bag
UPDATE # 3I have really gotten into the Dalstrong knives, I purchased 2 of them here on Amazon, and 9 on the Dalstrong site itself including their ceramic rod. I purchased a 3rd one of these perfectly slim bags so I can keep all of my Dalstrong knives together, I love how sleek they are and I know where each knife is. Let's talk about the zipper, I have never seen a zipper this strong and durable in my entire life!!! Any other zipper would have broken by now, not these though, they are awesome. I am a home chef so its not like I carry them to work and back, but I store them in these, and if I do want to take them somewhere, its no problem to grab all 3 of them and go. 3 of these are actually lighter than one huge bag. If I keep this up I may just have one in every color.Well, I did add more knives to my collection! I got a 7" Santoku knife, a 5" and 5.5' Santoku, a 5.5" Chef, a folding Nakiri and folding Bread knife and a standard 10" bread knife, yep lots of new knives, so I moved up to a much larger case, but I didn't like it, way to big for a home cook, bulky. So, I decided to buy another one of these in a different color, so know I can organize my knives accordingly in the two of them since I really love the design of this case so much. Plus this case gets no abuse as it is just always in my kitchen and is not an "on the go" travel chef bag, I am a home cook that loves using my various knives daily and love that these bags come in different colors and are so petite so I can orgainze my knives and know just which bag to go to for the knife I need. My ceramic honing rod has a home in the second bag now.I wanted a nice compact bag with a carry handle, I have 2 8" chef's knives, a 7" Nakiri knife, a 6.5" Nakiri knife, a Japanese Paring knife, and a fancy meat cleaver knife, plus I have my cooking tweezers, my steel or honing tool, which I think it it very cool that the steel has a special pocket just for that specific tool, every knife has a sheath on it, and everything fits perfectly and the bag zips up beautifully and looks so nice! I have seen the reviews with pictures here of knives without sheaths on them and it gives me chills, all I can think about are bloody fingers removing those knives, why are they not covered? omg please do not ever ask someone to hand you one of your knives, or grab them real fast yourself, please get sheaths for them, I do not care how good of a chef you are, you are still not immune to cutting the heck out of yourself, and if you are like me, honing your knives before and after use, then those blades are razor sharp! But back to the bag, I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I doubt I will need anymore knives, but if I do, then I will look to this brand for one with more pockets but the same bag so to speak.

compact but spacious travel kitchen knife bag
Why did you pick this product vs others?:i was looking for a flat knife/utensil case rather than a roll and this one looked good and well priced. 3 weeks into a driving vacation with stays in rental homes, i'm happy with it.

This bag is great starter bag for beginner cooks
It’s a very good knife bag, the only issue I have with it is putting the sharpening rod in its place. It’s a very tight fit and makes the bag bulky. Otherwise it is a very good bag. Holds plenty of stuff too.

Great budget knife roll
Well made, beautiful color, with plenty of space for accessories. So far it is holding up well to daily life in a butcher shop. It fits a 10 inch breaking knife perfectly. For the price, it’s great.

A good carrier for the knife you've invested in ...
A good carrier if you've invested in a proper knife. I'm not a professional chef, just an amateur cook. My group of friends frequently have cooking nights at each other homes, and this has been a nicer carrier case.

A bit too small for common knives
This roll had less space inside than I expected it to have. It also picked up some dirt and grease spots the first time I took it on the road with me, and the cheap fabric was ruined. The fabric has a sheen on it that stains way too easily and it cannot be cleaned. Whoever selected the fabric and finish of this product was likely a marketing person and not a cook.

Love it, wish it had one more knife slot
Materials nice and durable, all my knives fit very functionally inside, zipper quality is good and it looks nice, even taking it into a kitchen every day. All for a very reasonable price
