WormCam GBA
Okay I bought this wormcam a couple of weeks ago and it works better if you have it on bright or normal when out side when in side put it on bright. Oh and don't pay 7 or 8 bucks it's really not worth that much if you can find it for a dollar or two then buy it. Oh and don't bother with the cable or cd it comes with they only work on the older computers likw with windows 95 and up so if you have an old school computer that's like 95 or 96,97,or even 98 then go and try to pull up the pictures but on the the new school computers like from 2000 and up the cable and cd that come with this camera are completely useless although the camera it's self take's excellent pictures in color you just have to be really patient with this camera. Have fun and good picture taking.

A nice camera, but you are not gonna like how it's powered...
Now a days, just about every portable device (PSP, PS Vita, Gameboy Color, Android, iPhone, iPad, iPod) have some kind of camera device you can use to take pictures, record video, even save them to a memory card. Some take good shots, some aren't as good. This device is no exception. The Gameboy Advance has it's own camera you can use to take snap shots of yru friends, locations, or whatever you are into. The device fits purfectly on top of your Gameboy Advance (Not designed for the Flip-top Gameboy Advance) and you can hold it just like a camera. The camera can swivel from one to face you or you can have it face away so you can take aimed shots. The package comes with a Serial COM port cable, a special cap for the lens that helps reduce sun glare when take pictures outside, and software on CD to help you download the images to your Windows PC. Here are some of the concerns you may want to consider before buying this item...1.) It will not hold a lot of shots, and the pictures are of low quality shots.2.) It requires a watch battery to keep it powered, the Gameboy Advance does NOT supply it power.3.) Sadly, most PC's don't support the serial COM cable that comes with the device.4.) Does not come with a game, but does allow you to somewhat edit your photo's on the Gameboy Advance.5.) The software is designed for Windows 95/98/XP, will not work on Vista/7/8 because of the old technology.Overall it's not a bad idea, but the fact that the power comes from a small watch battery is not the most brilliant idea to put on a camera, especially since people who use the camera are only going to use it for fun, not to keep.A nice device to have, but you are better off getting a real camera that can actually store pictures as well as keep them stored rather than depend on the battery life and hope the battery doesn't die. Also, you will have a hard time trying to use the cable it comes with when most PC's don't have that kind of serial COM in the back of your PC. (Not all PC's have one anyways) Just keep this in mind and then consider if it's worth the headache. A nice camera, but has very limitations.

reviews do not lie MOst say it's crap (because it's crap
This is the biggest piece of junk i have ever wasted my money on in my life. I thought it should take good enough pictures for a four year old. I didn't expect great quality. Just expected a cheep looking photo. WRONG. I played with the settings as one review suggested and all i got no-matter what setting was BLACK dark screens, or white and gray lines of distortion. You could not even make out what you are taking a picture of. If you want a camera look for something else. This is a waste of money no-matter how cheep it is.

OMG This is so awesome!
This is the best peripheral i have seen for the GBA so far. The pictures arent as good as a digital camera, but if you are going to take it to school or something than it's a cool idea. For only 20 bucks you can't go wrong either. I recommend it with two thumbs up!

Here's the truth
Ok, this totally sucks. The pictures are so crappy you can barely see anything. Yes it has color, but it's practically B+W. It sucks, and the picture will only give you outdoor pictures that actually look like something. Sure you can upload the pics to the PC, but if you view in large view it's distored, and has that blurry pixle look. It's not really a digital camera, cuz you can't see what your taking until the pics are svaed. It takes forever to save, the pictures are so cappy too. it's not even worth $20 if you can find that price in the store. It saves so slow and it's so easy to get frustrated to. It's worst than the B+W Gameboy Camera, which even has better picture quality without having to struggle, plus that one is B+W. The WormCam sucks, don't believe the reviews below, because it isn't the real deal. I ended up returning and getting my money back. Don't make the same mistake it's not worth it.

HORRIBLE!
I received the worm cam for my birthday. I was so excited (yeah right) when I hooked it up to my GBA it had a horrible picture that I couldn't even see. THe picture was so dark even when I put it in it brightest setting I went outside but then it was too light and it looked like I was engulfed in white. The picture on the box can hardly compare to what they actually show. Don't be fooled. I was so excited about the idea because of the beautiful colorful picture of the dog but in reality its more of a black and white you can't even distinguish the colors or the picture and there is only the setting of brightness and that doesn't even work. Thank goodness I returned it and got my money back. Trust me this is not an item you want to buy!
