I am 5’9” 219lbs 13%BMI and I run my original usmc eagle industries mtv and this is a perfect modern substitute, swapped cummerbunds to a more light weight breathable set up, using ceramic plates with para cord to synch down the front and back for a more slim profile, the t3 plate carrier has robust molle and all around materials, I’ve built a few plate carriers off this t3 platform and I am very pleased. Overall in the right hands this is a perfect option for someone substituting your tier1 or shellback etc. If you need to get into something that works and fits well and can run confidentially - this will surpass most expectations with flying colors - I will continue to confidently buy these and build custom kits for numerous individuals for a proper kit.Btw the reviews above are obviously from airsoft internet moms basement warriors so taking that with a grain of salt will go a long way…

So buy one of these from a surplus shop that had t3 vest buy it and. It dose not have side pocket for KevlarIt feel some what comfortableI don't not like how the front vest has less mole on it because I don't care to put Velcro patches on the front but more utilities pouchesThis vest holds plates like an champ better than airsoft vest when carrying real platesThe mole feels very sturdyBut I really also don't like when I am wearing crye combat shirt the vest feels like is pulling my shirt up and it feels tite I end up wearing XL combat shirt to solve the problemMost of all it an good vest to wear for real actionBut you gona have some stuff you don't like on your vestBut my honest opinion price on the vest is too much. But good for 100$ if you ask me
